Rested in Lira with daughters 8 years old from 09 to 21 June 2015. Total 12 nights 13 days. The tour was booked back in March. The tour operator advised to book a bungalow, because they are quieter and cheaper there. Upon arrival at the hotel, the process of settling in the bungalow began. Because I am in Turkey for the 4th time, in Side directly for the 2nd time, then I asked to first look at the room. A very polite girl Oksana (guest relations) took me to show me a “wonderful room” with a beautiful view right on the fence and the road. Of course, I refused to settle for 12 nights in such “happiness”, because. not buses and cars, I came to listen and observe at the hotel.
Then I was offered a room closer, but on the 1st floor. This time, they kindly dragged my luggage there, although I didn’t ask for it, and I haven’t seen the room yet! After staying in this room for 10 minutes, my daughter and I simply perspired - there was catastrophic humidity and lighting with ventilation in the bathroom, when turned on, rattled so that I fell into despair. Taking her daughter by the hand, she went to the reception to demand another number.
As a result, I was shown room 1725 on the 2nd floor in a bungalow, where the front door immediately rested on the bed as you enter. Realizing that all the bungalows here are defective, I agreed to this number, because. everything else incl. and the view did not cause me a negative.

In room 1725, my bathroom was leaking every day (a puddle of water was leaking from under the bath)!! ! Contacting the reception did not solve the problem. Some two women came, obviously the best plumbers, squatted near the bathroom and told me that everything was OK, that it was “

Having adapted to collect this water with a towel for my feet, I have already come to terms with living in this room until the end of my stay at the wonderful Lyra Resort hotel. Having spent 6 nights in this way in room 1725 on the 7th day of my stay, my child found ants on the nightstand near the bed and in his backpack!!! ! These insects crawled into the bedside table and crawled into the backpack to my daughter, who was deployed on this bedside table, and also walked along our bed !!!
My patience has run out!! ! I went to the reception, brought the girl Oksana and the administrator to the room, and they offered me to move to a bungalow by the pool!! ! In general, having paid extra dollars, I moved to live in the main building, in the standard with a roof view !!! ! After the bath and the ants, I was happy about that too? ? Many thanks to the reception staff for the excellent accommodation and attitude !!!!
Regarding cleaning in the bungalow - cleaning sometimes consisted simply in taking out the garbage. Towels in a bungalow are something gray that has seen bad times in its many years of life and all that....There was a situation when I threw towels on the floor to be changed, because. they had spots on them. What was my surprise when, upon returning from the beach to the room, I found all these towels hanging in their original places again !!! ! Looks like a slow-witted cleaning lady got caught....Bed linen is changed only if you poke your finger and stand over your soul !!!
All of the above applies to bungalows. So people, bypass them so that you don’t get problems on your head for your money.
Standard room in the main building. There are no complaints about cleaning, towels, replenishment of the bar. Everything is up to the mark. Yes, and the number itself is 2 times larger than the number in the bungalow.

Food. We ate at the main restaurant. They have the most choice of food. As for the food, I was dissatisfied. There is something to compare. The choice of food is the same. All some kind of boiled-stewed with lots of spices and spicy!! ! Saved by grilled meat. My child is allergic. Initially, there was information that there are diets. Dietstol is represented by either boiled turkey and boiled vegetables (a mix of peas, carrots, corn), or fish and the same vegetables. In the morning there was porridge (terribly sweet, my daughter refused to eat). So, who needs a diet table - you are not in this hotel.
From fruits - there is something to eat, except for cherries and strawberries. They are sold for some reason for the money....
Pools. They are few and poorly cleaned, if anyone cleans them at all. There is a lot of mud at the bottom of the pools. There are too many people in the outdoor pools. I watched a picture of how, immediately after the closing of the water slides at 17-00, guys in yellow rubber boots came and began to water all the mattresses on the sun loungers and the pool area with a hose. In short, everything floated....And those who did not bother to get out in a timely manner immediately after 17-00 from the sunbeds were simply forced to do so. Usually pool cleaning starts after 18-00!! ! But for work on cleaning mattresses near the pool, a different time is apparently set....It would be better if the pools were cleaned...
Sea. The beach is sand and pebble. Entrance to the sea on the rocks. It was painful to walk on them with bare feet... Special shoes are needed. The river flows to the left of the hotel's beach. Because of it, the water in the sea near the hotel beach is muddy and there is garbage.

Last year I rested in this place, but in the hotel on the other side of the river and the sea there was emerald clear. Thanks to the impression of last year's vacation, the beauty of the sea and its purity, I decided to come to Side for the second year in a row, but my expectations were not met...
