Let's start. Hotel Monachus hotel & SPA 4 * (previously called Club Calimera Monachus Side 4 *) We liked the hotel. We went with my husband, two children 7 and 17 years old and my mother, from August 21 to 30.
Check in: Settled normally. The hotel is really 100% full. Some people leave - the rooms are cleaned - the next ones come in. We arrived at 8 in the morning, they attached bracelets to us, we had breakfast, part of our family went to the beach to swim (towels were received in the spa, their replacement was 50 cents), the second half of the family stayed at the hotel until check-in.
The staff does not speak Russian at all, since the hotel is designed entirely for Germans. Therefore, the guide provided to us settled us. Otherwise, ignorance of German did not interfere with us - everything is clear and so. There were guests from the CIS in the hotel... a family from Moscow and we from Kazakhstan. ALL. If you also met Russian-speaking people, then it was our former compatriots living in Germany.

The lack of language communication did not affect the quality of service in any way: the rooms are the same, the service is the same, the beach, after all, is WHAT YOU NEED TO GO IN SIDE FOR - also the same as for everyone else!
They gave us two rooms in the same building on the same floor, that is, very close. The windows of the rooms overlooked different parts of the hotel. One balcony was above the bar, street restaurant and bandstand - a good location, so to speak, the front door (it was a double room). The second overlooked the back of the hotel, there is a tennis court and always silence - also a great location (triple room). No discrimination regarding settlement between Russians, Kazakhs, Germans, etc. - No. Yes, and it can’t be, since the hotel is small, all the rooms are equally well-groomed, the view from the window is as lucky as anyone. There are no terrible views, but otherwise - well, you are not going to look at the sea from the window.
Location of the hotel: This second balcony overlooks the Side Breeze Hotel (formerly Monacus Park - five stars). Now this monacus park has been sold, and a 5-star hotel of the same system is located right in front of the monacus hotel on the first coastline, we pass it on the way to the beach. On the territory of this hotel (Commodore Elite Suite) there is an amusement park of the Monacus hotel (a swimming pool with water slides, bicycles, a volleyball court, where the girls were engaged in oriental dances, there is a bar with drinks). I want to note that on the Google map, the Monacus, Commodore and Side Breeze hotels are marked somewhat incorrectly. Our hotel, i. e. Monacus spa hotel is located 150-200 meters from the sea, I think that this is not a distance at all. That is, you just need to go around the building of the Commodore Hotel and we are on the beach.
SPA - very good, even nice. 15 minutes of massage for each visitor of the hotel is free of charge. Further, all procedures are paid, the money is very reasonable, besides, the pleasure received is worth it. By the way, the only person who speaks Russian in the hotel is the representative of the spa salon - Akhmet.

Hamam, sauna to warm up - every day, until 19 pm everything works - for free.
Meals: The beach bar is excellent, open from 10 to 17. Lunch is excellent on the beach, the children liked to dine more on the beach than in the hotel restaurant. Somewhere in the lunch area on the beach they give ice cream, then a Turkish lady bakes very tasty cakes (again, a favorite delicacy of children - a deep bow to her for the pleasure she brought to the children).
The restaurant in the hotel is large, the food is quite varied. We were given... not to list everything... lamb shish kebab, chicken, shawarma, every day there were dishes like beef and lamb stew. Well, it makes no sense to list vegetable, sweet and other dishes. Sweets are varied. The cakes are wonderful - very tasty. It is impossible to refuse such a delicacy! For breakfast: fruits, yoghurts, omelettes, pancakes, pancakes, cheese, cheese, etc.
Beach. Fine clean sand. The entrance to the sea is smooth, sandy, no plates and stones. One sand. Flopping with children is a pleasure! And to be honest, it’s much more pleasant to swim where the sand is, nothing cuts your feet, and the depth of the water below you doesn’t scare you.
There are no discos in the hotel. The only thing is, at eight o'clock in the evening for 20 minutes dancing for small children, then some, almost none, animation for adults (all in German), at that time we usually walked along the coast or in the village in souvenir shops. At 12 at night - complete silence. Leisure hotel. There was one interesting evening on the beach, a fire show, and that's it.
Excursions. The hotel itself does not offer any trips. Your tour operators are working. We went to the Belek Dolphinarium, and with a child a trip on a pirate ship (on the river to the sea and back, for everything - 6-7 hours). Personally, our guide did not offer us anything (or rather, he offered prices 2 times more expensive, and even with the payment of an individual transfer, in general, nothing good) - we joined Teztur.

Summary: The hotel is amazing. Clean, comfortable, cleaning every day, excellent food, beach and sea - mmmm beyond words. I would visit this hotel again. The only request to the administration is that Russian-speaking animators are needed for children. I recommend.
