Like last year, we flew from Belgorod on a ticket from Tez-Tour. The host travel agency is still Kilt Global.
We were greeted normally, taken to the hotel without forced stops in stores (as was the case last year).
We booked a Family Room and were placed in the same room 80 as last year - in the middle of the second line of cottages, on the second floor. The wife's parents lived on the 3rd floor in the main building, separately.
The hotel itself hasn't changed much in a year. There were fewer Russian-speaking staff (last year's Kazakhs were not hired), but there were more English-speaking staff. The staff has changed almost completely, the service manager is new, short, wearing glasses, does not speak Russian. Tip - put on the phone a translator program that works offline or ask the employee himself to run Google Translator on his phone.

A panoramic restaurant was opened on the 6th floor of the main building. From the windows of the restaurant there is an excellent view of the sea and neighboring hotels. The restaurant can be reached by 2 new Otis high-speed elevators. There are enough places, there are no (or almost no) queues for food, the quality and quantity of food has not changed since last year. Meat, mostly chicken or turkey. Beef and lamb - 1-2 times a week, fish - 2-3 times a week. Vegetables are fresh and plentiful. Small selection of local cheeses (last year had more choice). From fruits - apricots, plums, nectarines, watermelon, melon. A standard set of inexpensive Turkish sweets and dried fruits. There is no microwave in the restaurant! Warm milk too. Last year, they brought porridge and powdered milk for the baby with them. Freshly squeezed juices, ice cream, cocktails with imported alcohol - for an additional fee. Local beer ("Efes"), table red and white wine - without restrictions.
In front of the beach, a shaded seating area was added, next to the bar. Last year it was rented out to a nearby hotel (Side Princess), whose summer restaurant was used while theirs was being renovated. Sirma's restaurant and lawn have been taken back this year. The beach is sandy, private, the entrance to the water is gentle. There are enough umbrellas and sunbeds for everyone, you don’t need to borrow in advance.
Wi-Fi in the hotel is free - only in the lobby. The speed is limited. For money (25 euros for 2 weeks) you can purchase unlimited access anywhere on the territory of the hotel where the signal reaches, for ONE device on which you register access.
There are more Russian-language programs on the TV, but the TV itself is old, the connection of external devices is only SCART.
In my understanding, the hotel corresponds to its 4 * stars. Dissatisfied reviews, as usual, come from tourists who want to receive a level of service from 4+ to 5 * in a hotel that until recently had a three-star level. Sirma 4 * is valuable only for its three-room Family Rooms (in cottages next to the main building), which easily accommodate a family with two children 3 years and older. The children sleep in their own room. Additionally, you can place one more baby in a cradle in the room with parents. In the third room - the living room-kitchen - although it is possible to sleep, it is uncomfortable. This room has a kitchen set, a double sofa bed, a table with 4 chairs, two armchairs, a coffee table and a TV, but no air conditioning. Any other hotel on the first line from the sea in Side, providing two-room accommodation, will cost much more.
We did not use the pools on this visit - the sea is better.
The kitchen has a 2-burner electric stove, but no cooking utensils. Dishes - tea set and glasses. If you plan to cook, you need to bring dishes with you or buy. We didn't use the stove this year. In the past, they boiled water in a kettle. There is a refrigerator, normal.

The playground next to the beach is small (a couple of slides, swings). Children's animation - no frills (drawing, etc. ). The adult is almost none. I repeat once again: for active youth, families without children who come to have fun, or if children need water slides and outdoor games - Sirma is the wrong choice. This hotel is designed for a quiet inexpensive measured rest.
There are fewer German tourists. And, it seems, more rooms were rented (or sold) for the season to the Turks. Because the hotel is not in great demand among foreigners, the owners are slowly selling rooms in cottages to their fellow citizens. This, by the way, explains the absence of a lack of places on the beach and queues in the restaurant. Below us lived the Turks, who bought their number.
The owners of the hotel take great care of their garden. He is really wonderful! There are many fruit-bearing citrus fruits, pomegranates, and other exotic plants for us. All - on artificial irrigation.
On trips, we always carry a “gentleman's set” with us: a clothesline, clothespins, a minimum of plastic utensils and a fruit knife. For the Family Room, this is true. The hotel stands under a hillock, so you need to climb up on foot to all the shops and stops of city minibuses. Upstairs, within walking distance, there are Migros, M112, a hospital, a leather goods store, an exchange office (no commission), ATMs, several restaurants, a pizzeria, small shops. Pharmacy - within walking distance from the main building. Opposite - a private travel agency. Another one is at the top. The entire infrastructure is listed on Google, you can see it in advance. By minibus (3.5-4 lira per adult one way) you can get there: if to the right, then to Old Side, Novamall shopping center, Manavgat; if to the left, then in the Mall of Side shopping center, Carrefour supermarket (“Crossroads”). All stores accept credit cards. It seemed to me that it was more profitable to pay with a card from a ruble account than to change through dollars. But small lira is still needed to pay for ice cream in kiosks, minibuses, thank the staff (which is optional), etc.

The drivers of Tez-Tour in their free time work part-time on their air-conditioned minibuses as taxi drivers for tourists. For 10 dollars they will take the whole family from the hotel to Old Side and back, for 15 - to the Novamall shopping center. Book through a guide. From Tez-Tour (Kilt Global) we flew on an excursion to Istanbul for one day. Of course, everything is at a gallop, but I liked it, a lot of impressions. The flight was from Antalya to the new Istanbul Airport on the Airbus A-321, Atlas Global airline. In-flight sandwich and tea are served.
Medical insurance at Tez-Tour with a franchise: be careful. Since we fly with children, we independently bought insurance without a deductible (“AlfaStrakhovanie”). Unfortunately, with the younger had to take advantage. The doctor was called by sending an appeal to the insurance company by e-mail. Time from treatment to arrival. transport - almost an hour and a half. We were taken to the clinic and back for free. Medicines in Turkey are of high quality and not more expensive than in Russia.
In general, I can recommend taking into account the limitations described above. If you want more adequate information, look at the reviews of real guests on the hotel's Facebook page (you can enable translation there), or on German sites (Google will help you if you don't know German).
