We rested from 11/20/21 to 12/1/21 with my husband.
Calling this hotel 4 * is very difficult.
I would give 1* terrible conditions.
Looking at this hotel, we thought that we would be settled in beautiful rooms overlooking the ocean, where there is light and water.
But we ended up in a "new building" where it seems to be normal in the room, but it stinks of lime, there is no water and the light is irregular.
For two days we had no water. . . just nonsense.
Do not go to the shower after arrival, the ocean, the toilet.
After a scandal with the administration, they fixed the pump, and there was water.
Breakfast is very simple: egg, jam, bread, bread with some kind of spread.
For 12 days we ate potatoes 1 time, 2 times a small amount of chopped sausages, a plate of fruit: a piece of mini mango, pineapple, watermelon (every day). Tea, instant coffee, milk powder, juices diluted with a huge amount of water and sugar.
Breakfast does not change.
There is no buffet.

The internet in the "new building" is very poor. Settled in a building that is unfinished.
We lived in the "Iraq" room.
The air conditioner dripped into the room for 3 days. We contacted the manager and the master came and repaired everything.
During the days of staying in hotels, they did not change the bed, although we left the keys at the reception. Cleaned well, towels changed once.
The toilet drain is bad.
I understand that we flew to Africa, but this is the first time we have encountered such conditions.
Near the hotel there is a mini pool area and sun loungers.
So, there are not enough sunbeds for everyone.
Sunbeds provided only for a building that was built in 2019. You have to come at 5 in the morning, or go to other hotels to buy beer or coffee in order to lie down comfortably.
In this hotel you can dine on the 4th floor.
But very unclean dishes. . . we had dinner once only on the first day. Ordered an octopus and it was like rubber.
As you go out to the beach on your right hand there are many reasonably priced restaurants. For example "Sunset Kendwa" walk from our hotel for 10-15 minutes. The average check is $15-25. Tasty.
And also if you leave the hotel gate and walk in a straight line, then there is a restaurant "Tropicana". Very pleasant prices. Approximately $10 for two dishes. They will bring you a compliment - this is a non-alcoholic cocktail and possibly shrimp. Everything there is delicious.
If you are used to comfort and all human conditions, then this is not the hotel.
One big + for the Indian Ocean, it is very warm. You can find starfish there, but remember that they should never be picked up from the water!
Snorkeling and seeing all the beauty of the Indian Ocean is definitely a thrill.
I want to go back to Zanzibar but it will be 100% not this hotel.
