I liked the hotel - well-groomed territory, good room (bungalow with jacuzzi). The sea grass on the beach was carefully cleaned in the morning along the entire length of the beach near the hotel, shower supplies were put every day without reminders, towels were changed every day, flower arrangements were made from the sheets on the beds without a tip.
There was a kettle in our room, tea bags were added every day. The sockets are standard, but if you have electrical appliances with thick pins in the plug, then take a European adapter with you. There were very few mosquitoes these days. Water was delivered to us only on the day of arrival, 3 bottles of 0.7 liters. Several times we went with them to a bar next to the site where the shows were held in the evening. In this bar there were containers with juices and clean water, they collected water in empty bottles until they made a remark to us that this was all (including water) only for "all inclusive". We only paid for breakfast and dinner. But we found a way out - opposite the main entrance, at the other end of the territory after the restaurant, there is a service entrance. Through it, too, let out and let in vacationers. Not far from this exit there are shops (similar to shops on the beach with souvenirs) where you can buy water and fruits from local residents. Water in original packaging, bottles of 1.5 liters at a price of 2500 local shillings each. For comparison, in the city we bought the same for 2000 shillings. You can buy for dollars, but I do not know the price. In previous reviews, they wrote about a tea table with cookies next to the bar, which everyone could use. On our arrival, there was a sign that this was all only for the all-inclusive system, after a "puncture" with water, we did not dare to drink tea from this table.
Breakfast food is ordinary, very tasty drinking yogurt, in the morning you can also take fruit. In the evening there is no variety of dishes as in European and Turkish hotels, but no one remained hungry. Almost every day they cook fish, 2-3 times there was chicken and shrimp, there are salads with octopuses. Very tasty desserts. Fruits are cut in portions in front of you, so you have to wait a little in line, but they are all very ripe and tasty (pineapples, mangoes, grapefruits, watermelons, papaya, passion fruit).

About the beach and swimming - the beach is wide, cleaned, the sand is fine and does not heat up in the sun. There are no umbrellas, sun loungers stand under the trees (similar to willows with thin long leaves and larches), there is no continuous shade from the trees, but just right for sunbathing. In the morning you choose a sunbed for yourself and the attendant brings a mattress to it, towels for the beach are given next to the restaurant (open from 7 to 18 hours), the beach is guarded. Locals walk along the beach, but do not go beyond the "conditional line" that runs in the middle between the hotel and the ocean. Local merchants offer fruits, shells, and souvenirs. They like to shake hands very much, they are very friendly, no aggression when refusing to buy something from them. Closer to dinner, local schoolchildren of different ages go home past our hotel along the beach. If you wish, bring pens, pencils, small notepads, or sweets to treat schoolchildren. They will be very happy about this, but at the same time they behave very dignified - they do not beg.
The ocean is very warm, the water is soft (there is no feeling of tightness of the skin from salt when leaving it), the bottom is sandy with separate grass fields. Waves all the time, but calm, without lamb. Ebb-tide every day, but change with time. At the beginning of our arrival, the water left after 11 o'clock in the afternoon, came after 16 o'clock. And at the end of the holiday came only after 18 hours. But the bottom relief of the hotel is such that even at low tide you don’t have to go far to stand in the water at full height. There is a small nuisance - at low tide, the water puts shells like mussels with sharp edges upwards, the entire shell is almost completely in the sand and is not visible. We cut our feet quite badly with these shells. The way out of this situation is to take swimming slippers with rubber soles with you or swim without them, but when you walk along the bottom, do not immediately transfer the entire weight of the body to the foot - first feel the bottom with your foot and in the absence of a sharp one, you can already calmly take a step.
The sun is very strong, be sure to take sunscreen with you, you can even buy sunburn gel at the pharmacy at home (it also came in handy for us). The wind blows from the ocean all the time, even very strong in the evening. Therefore, you don’t really feel the heat, but you can easily get burned. In the evening, along the coast, they begin to ride a board with a parachute, but they do not interfere with swimming.
We went by boat to the island of Prison to the turtles, keep in mind that from the shore to the boat you need to walk a little on the water. Stock up on water so that when you return to the city you can wash your feet from adhering sand. After the island there was a tour of the capital. It was already lunch time, the streets were narrow and there were very few shadows. The wind in the city is not felt at all, so the heat was still the same. You can easily get heatstroke. Therefore, ALWAYS take drinking water and hats. You can also buy water in passing shops, but the guide goes very quickly and the streets are so confusing that you can fall behind and get lost. The guide gives time for buying water and souvenirs only on the way back, so you should have water at the beginning of the tour. In the city bought coffee beans, very tasty. A pack of 0.5 kg costs 12-13 dollars.

Money was exchanged with the guide of the host when they signed up for excursions (1 dollar = 2200 shillings, the exchange rate is less at the airport). But you can not change at all, but buy everything for dollars, including souvenirs in beach shops.
In the evening there were different shows at the hotel, the animators tried their best. Before the show, there was a small market with souvenirs near the pool, prices do not differ from beach souvenir shops.
A small note on paying for a visa when entering Zanzibar. At the airport you need to pay 50 dollars for each. At the same time, they will insist on paying only with a bank card, don’t be fooled by this and don’t panic if you don’t have a card, talk about paying only in cash - they take cash just fine.
I liked the rest on Zanzibar very much, the ocean is just a miracle. Everyone who was told about their vacation and showed photos also wanted to go to Zanzibar. Therefore, I advise you to go. Don't expect European star level service, but there's nothing terrible here either.
