Holidays in Aquilon

Written: 29 june 2010

Good afternoon, dear visitors of the portal!
It was not I who rested in Aquilon, but my parents, but since they will not leave a review, I am writing from the words of my mother. My parents are calm people, not picky, they won’t complain in vain.
Hotel pluses:
- a good location relative to the park (literally 2 - 3 minutes from the Big Chaos) and relative to the center (this is the center), close to any shops, post office, bank branches.
- good "stuffing" of the room: refrigerator, shower, air conditioning, new furniture
- acceptable prices
- polite administrator (one of all : ))
Cons of the hotel:
- linen and towels have not been changed for a week, the garbage has never been taken out;

- Breakfast is poor, they do not provide bread at all. save on everything, boorish service. the price on the bill may be higher than the price on the menu (it happened to my parents), and they may also bring not what they ordered. the menu is considered custom, but most of the declared menu items are actually missing. scrambled eggs with sausage did not contain sausage at all. Therefore, advice: if possible, immediately refuse food!
- when trying to go to the sea at 7 am, it turned out that this "round-the-clock" hotel is locked, where the staff sleeps - it is not known;
- a huge prepayment: 50% of the cost of living. I have not seen this anywhere. Moreover, they claim on the phone that the money will be partially returned in case of no-show, but the bill clearly states that the prepayment is not refundable;
- the hotel is surrounded by a road, garbage cans spoil the view and the air, there is no territory.
Summary: "Soviet" service in action with a relatively good "stuffing" and location.
At first they thought to go there in June with a child, but the parents advised against it and the large prepayment scared me. Let's go to Royal. But this is a completely different review, and a different service too...
Sincerely,
Elena.
