My 6-year-old daughter and I rested from the beginning of September until the middle of 2012 in the Yuzhnoberezhny sanatorium. I want to share my impressions. We bought the ticket ourselves, through a tour operator - not "state employees".
in spite of everything, rest, after all, is good, but, as it turns out, not everywhere.
In general, the impression of the resort is not bad.
1. Taxis are not allowed on the territory of the sanatorium.
2. The administration imposes medical insurance. Although we bought a ticket through a travel agency and insurance is included in the price of the tour (mandatory, always and in any travel agency), we had to pay almost 100 UAH!

3. we had a simpler room, but with a sea view. in the room there is an old, torn linoleum, an old coffee table, old bedside tables, beds with some kind of mattresses. One warm blanket for two (it's good that the weather was warm and I could sleep just under the sheet). TV, refrigerator. The bathroom is normal with a new renovation . there is no clothesline on the balcony. the room is cleaned every day, the bed is changed once a week. hot water according to the schedule. in the morning from 8 to 9. and in the evening from 20 to 21. there was water sometimes before lunch and until 22.00. the rooms have better carpet on the floor, furniture on the balcony and clothes dryer.
4. in the sanatorium on all floors there are carpet paths, new elevators. there is absolutely no park on the territory. there are two paths with benches, flowers and trees and that's it. in the evening there is nowhere to go for a walk. There is nowhere for the child to run. Thank God there are no noisy embankments. there is no noise from the sea from the cafe. you can only hear the sea through the window (and that’s great). There is a shop and a vegetable tent right at the exit from the sanatorium. The rest of the shops are within a 5-minute walk. to Yalta) and another 500 meters to walk. olive and juniper groves on the territory - this is loudly said. Mostly oaks grow and this grove smells like a toilet. Every evening there was a disco in front of the entrance to the sanatorium (for adult teenagers).
5. the dining room is a nightmare. the waitresses serve for a long time. the menu is custom-made, but sometimes quite often they give an ordinary dish, something that they didn’t order at all. the food is average, like in the dining room. lunch was always fruit. meals 4 times a day. but the worst thing is cockroaches! they run around tables and food (we ran over plums) and on the floor, and cockroaches are not small! for that kind of money, a problem with cockroaches could be decide.
6 treatment I liked it. There are also water treatments such as Charcot's shower, hydromassage, pearl baths, but this is for an additional fee.
A nurse and a doctor are on duty around the clock. We arrived late in the evening from an excursion, the child’s ear hurt and she was immediately put on a warm turunda. The doctor examines her once a week.
medical care is excellent.

7. beach. it takes a long time to go to it. to go down a long staircase. It took about 15 minutes to climb up. There are 2 sectors on the beach. The 1st sector - there are not pebbles on the shore, but large sharp rubble. But according to san-kur-m books they give wooden sunbeds for free. It’s very problematic to enter the sea there - there are huge boulders everywhere. The 2nd sector is better. On the shore, the pebbles are large in places, in some places small, almost sand. Sunbeds (white plastic) are paid 20 UAH per day (for comparison, in Gurzuf 40 UAH per day! ). You can do without a sunbed for free, but this is at the end of the beach . the water is clean, transparent to a deep depth. the beaches are clean, but small.
8. with excursions no brobles. the organizer Zoya (at the entrance to the dining room) is a wonderful woman! everything is organized in the best possible way, all the guides are professionals! we were delighted. if I came, it would be only for them.
In general, not bad, we are not picky about the conditions. We put up with food. But, I think, next time we will not come here.
