Rested in the room Pearl, in April, in the low season. I’ll write right away for those who will be traveling around the same time: save on accommodation, but you will have to overpay for food with a vengeance. When we went to Alupka, to be honest, we expected that the rest would be budget. In Mare Nero, the prices at this time are more than pleasant. Moreover, for the children did not require any additional payment. The room has a very large wide bed (as a result, I slept on it freely along with two children aged 6 and 2). Plus there is a sofa that could be expanded, but it was already quite comfortable for one dad. The situation is the same in any other room, that is, you can use the sofa as an extra place. But the price included, respectively, 2 breakfasts. We had enough with the kids. The four of us were comfortable, although the room is not very large. It was convenient that there was a table in the room, you could feed the children, draw at it. (This is not available in all rooms). Plus, Zhemchuzhny has the largest balcony and the best sea view. At first I was worried that this was the 5th floor, it was difficult with children and a stroller. But the hotel is located on a hill, the first two floors are on a slope, and the restaurant, as it were, is on the 3rd floor. That is, if you enter from the side of the restaurant, and not from the street, then Zhemchuzhny is on the 3rd floor. I wrote tricky, but in general, 3 instead of the 5th, it's convenient. In general, I liked all the rooms that are higher and with a sea view. Venice, for example. There is also the inconvenience of our room - a restaurant fireplace. The restaurant occupies 2 floors in height, Pearl is directly above it, and when the fireplace was kindled there in the evening, the room smelled of smoke. Otherwise, everything was quite simple, but tasteful and comfortable.
Now food. The main item of expenditure) Thank you very much for the breakfasts at the hotel, it is convenient and tasty. Portions, by the way, are quite normal, two were enough for four. Coffee or tea was also included. The waitresses were friendly, courteous and served quickly. But I'm not sure that it will be the same in the high season. When we had breakfast, a large company came to the restaurant, about 10 people, and that's it, they collapsed. We had to wait 40 minutes for our breakfast. Apparently it's just not typical out of season, hopefully they have more people in the kitchen during the summer. Further, in their restaurant it was possible to take complex lunches, 60 hryvnias. For Alupka, this is more than budget. But I had to have dinner absolutely at Moscow prices. And this was the unexpected inconvenience of the "low season". There were only 3 restaurants in the city! And that’s it, there was no alternative to have dinner at least sometimes cheaper. In the summer, I think, there are no problems with this, at the end of our vacation, many cafes and restaurants were preparing to open. Mare Nero probably had the highest price tag. Just like in Moscow (I take average chain restaurants). It was tasty, but the portions for such a price are very small. On average, without alcohol for four, at least 250 hryvnia. Most of all we liked the "Karamba", however, I recommend everyone to have dinner and relax there. Somehow it is very sincere, the barbecue is just excellent, everything is delicious, the portions are large. The interior is cool, cartoons were shown for children, in general, everything is on the level. And in Mare Nero we acted as follows: we ordered dinner in the room, they have this service provided and even free of charge, we took our own wine and drinks. It turned out economically due to their alcohol and conveniently, since the children were busy playing games or watching TV, they could eat in peace!
Separately, I want to say about the administrators. Both are very polite, solved all questions, responded to all requests. Iron in the room, better clean up - everything was decided through them. And the best part, on the day of departure, the eviction was, in my opinion, at 12.00, and the train in the evening. It is difficult to stay outside with children all this time. And the administrator went to meet us, allowed us to stay in the room until check-out at no extra charge, although this had to be settled, the cleaning of the room was postponed, and the exact time of arrival was checked with the next guests - on the same day! Thank you very much for this.

And about the place itself. The location of the hotel is, of course, incomparable. Park, Vorontsov Palace, near the cable car, Massandra basement, Mount Koshka, in general, all the sights of the South Coast are available. I will only add that all this is of particular value in the spring, when there are few people, palaces and parks are not crowded with excursion groups, children can ride in half-empty minibuses, and so on. Plus, everything is already green, the birds are singing. The only thing they thought was that in the Crimea at that time it was stable +20. But it was different. The sea was sometimes stormy and cooler.
I will try to answer questions. In general, we were satisfied. I would definitely return to this hotel again. But I'm not sure about the summer season. Since the prices for accommodation, in my opinion, at this time in the Crimea are already extremely high. A little added - and you're already abroad)
