My husband and I lived in a new building on the 3rd floor. What we liked: 1. The territory is small, but well-groomed and beautiful 2. Location (very convenient that there is a bus stop and a shop nearby, which had everything you need for small snacks) 3. Breakfasts (surprised, how should I say, uneven satiety breakfast : ) then a slice of scrambled eggs + two slices of cheese and two ham, then porridge + 3 hearty pancakes! ) But even the most meager breakfast was enough. About the nearest beach "Black Hill". It is located really close by Crimean standards - 7-8 minutes on foot along well-equipped wooden footbridges, to which you still have to walk a little along the path! The slope is not strong at all, if there were steps there, it would be cool, otherwise it’s a gradual descent, very cultural. Yes, at the bottom there are concrete steps past. . . a nasty (but seems closed) toilet. Well. . . apparently, in the Crimea, without it, nowhere. They write that they are without railings, but there are at most 20 of them, there is nothing wrong with the absence of railings, well, only if you are not very drunk. . . The first thing we realized was that there was nothing to do on this beach in the morning and afternoon if you wanted at least some calm and cozy rest. Yes, our people are unpretentious, they lie back to back, they hide food leftovers in pebbles. . . There are no umbrellas, that is, either your own or under the sun. To plunge there in the evening (after 18) is a pleasure, there are few people, the pebbles are small, almost immediately deep, the water is clean! Well, unless the sun is gone. And so for the evening swim - that's it! And then 8 minutes - and you're in the hotel! 4. Twice squirrels darted right through the trees in front of the balcony : ) What I didn’t like: 1. there was cleaning, towels, paper were changed, but the dust from the floor did not disappear, bed linen was not changed even once in 2 weeks! There were no rags in the toilet, after a shower, water naturally falls on the floor, but you shouldn’t wipe it with a foot towel, you should provide a rag. 2. the food in the restaurant, although tasty, but the wait is very long. Twice we waited for 40-50 minutes, honestly! First they bring drinks and bread, you eat it all from hunger, then you sit for another 20 minutes, they bring something else. "Their" (those who are related to the hotel) are served much faster. Prices are above average, but generally acceptable. Children are left to their own devices, parents sitting and relaxing nearby are already accustomed to constant yelling, and naturally they don’t care about others, so cute creatures rush around, scream and rumble with all kinds of toys. It bugged out periodically. 3. Noisy, noisy, noisy! ! If it was so noisy at night in the new building, what happens in the rooms with a road/sea view? You won’t sleep with air conditioning, it was simple in our room, neither the temperature nor the mode was regulated, you open the window - the roar of engines, next to you is a school that either had a summer children’s camp, or just a hangout place for local youth. A couple of times they smelled that someone was smoking weed! ! A couple of times there were nightly squabbles - screams with obscenities and a showdown. That is, although not on the territory of the hotel, but right next to its fence, the feeling that everything is happening almost under the windows. I think that this minus outweighs the plus from the convenience and proximity of the stop. Last year we were in the Forest - it's really quiet and calm there! 4. We knew in advance from the photo that there would be only one chair, we took a folding stool with us. Could put two chairs in a double room. . . 5. And finally, the most important thing! WATER! ! For 6 days they hung noodles on our ears about turning off the water in Alupka and turning on the add. pump. . . I will not describe in detail. The conclusion is that they save energy and do NOT turn on the pump when they should, hoping that no one needs water. But if it were not only hot! The boiler simply has nothing to heat, because the water does not reach it when the pump is turned off. And after turning it on, it takes about an hour for her to get here. The administrator probably leaves at 18, in the evening there are not always adequate security guards who do not solve anything. On the 6th day after the brainwashing, and in fact just upholding what we are supposed to do, we were told that they put some kind of plug that did not allow us to turn off the pump. After that everything was ok. But in general, it spoiled the whole impression of the hotel. I think that for us it was the most negative moment. 6. A little about security. I don’t know how such a number of hotel staff distinguishes residents from “random” ones and what prevents a random person from coming in during the day and asking for the key to my room, which, by the way, closes only one turn. They probably have their own know-how, although in my opinion, this is all before the first time, so to speak. . . In general, we are not spoiled at all and are ready to put up with some minor flaws, but perhaps next time I will choose a different hotel.
