I’ll tell my story, maybe it will help those who are going on vacation, as the reviews from this site helped me.
I decided to go to the Crimea - I have never been there, but my passport is running out - I need to change it. I called the travel agency and they offered me 5 hotels in Crimea to choose from. I stopped at the Marat Park Hotel, but then I read the reviews here and somehow became thoughtful, especially since there was only a standard left, and the three of us were traveling - me and my children: 14 years old and 21. I was not delighted with the operator either - I decided I called the hotel myself and realized that I definitely didn’t want to go there. For three in the standard they took 1700 hryvnia - accommodation and breakfast, and this is still less and much more than through a tour operator. I didn’t like the girl at the reception of Marat either - she and the tour operator seemed to be from the same cradle - polite, but indifferent with a touch of spitting from the “fuck off” series. And I'm going for the first time, I'm going to relax with the children, who also haven't seen Crimea. Negative us, of course, in addition to the cost of vouchers, is not needed.
I confess to the same - I am a very spoiled person, and incredulous.

Therefore, she took up the matter herself and began to wool sites. There is almost nothing about Argo, their website is also uninformative and one-sided. Focus on it - shoot at the "milk". But I called the hotel and... I'm not sorry! Since this all started!
1 They spoke to me politely and kindly, as with a friend whom they had not seen for 200 years and they really want to see. But they weren't forced to. And it disposes.
2 They didn’t take an advance payment from me and didn’t have to jump around St. Petersburg before leaving in search of a bank to transfer money to them.
3 I asked for a transfer and it was, and the best.
But in order. Plane tickets from St. Petersburg in July cost like wings from a Boeing - for three people there and back - phenomenally. So we decided to take the train. The coupe did not fit into the budget because of the same phenomenal cost - I had to take a reserved seat. And this is the most terrible memory of my vacation. My practice of communicating with trains is peregrine falcon. It's just out here. Someone here on the site said that the train to the Crimea is quite tolerable, there are air-conditioners and so on - but figs to you! Air conditioning - open windows that are closed by grannies and mothers of babies and you are going to hell. The cars are old, from the time of Leonid Ilyich, and they are all packed to capacity. In general, this is a separate song and to understand what a "high" the train to the south in July - just look at this photo - they took it already on the way back, when the Moscow-Simferopol train passed nicely (photo attached) - you can’t confuse it))
But we were saved - Masha, the hotel manager, called and offered to leave earlier. And at 6 in the morning we fell out at the Dzhankoy station where we were met by a smiling, neat man with a sign of Villa Argo - in fact, one on the entire platform.
I repeat - at 6 am! That is, the person got up at three in the morning to get to the station exactly and meet us and arrived before the train so that we would not worry. They thought about us even in this sense - that we are going for the first time, we do not know the area.

He helped carry the luggage to the car, cheered us up with a conversation and treated us like VIP guests, although he saw him for the first time, just like we did.
Three hours later, having familiarized ourselves with the landscape of the Crimea, we were on the spot. The first person to meet us was the guard. Passing through the crowds of beach savages striving for the sea, I confess I thought that we got there - there would be some kind of hut, hubbub and other "charms". But everything matched what is shown on the site!
Nothing and no one superfluous, left!
Snow-white hotel with blue roofs and umbrellas - visible from afar. The territory is guarded and inside only their own. Yes, the playground is small and at the entrance, but it was fine for me personally - my children grew out of these playgrounds.
As you enter through the security - opens the courtyard, flooded with sun. Smiling and friendly waiters scurry between the tables and go up to the second floor - to the pool, bringing delicious cocktails and cold juices to vacationers. Silence, coziness, comfort, beautiful design.
At the reception, a smiling girl who did not demand money from us, but offered to go up to the room first, say if we like it or we need another one, relax, and then fill out the forms and pay. She brought us to the room, the air-conditioner was already working there and the smiling maid, who laid beautiful beach towels for us, quietly slipped out, wishing a pleasant stay. . .
Room Standard C - family, for three. At the price on the site - 1300 hryvnia per day for all + buffet breakfast and dinner to choose from. Looking around the room, I exchanged glances with my son - the service and the number alerted me, the thought arose that it would cost 1300 per person.

Clean, comfortable, soundproofing, balconies overlooking the sea, the village and the courtyard. Refrigerator - works! Everything is new. There is enough space for three in the room - you don't have to stumble over each other and objects. Mirror wardrobe, safe, bedside tables, chtol written, large, functional, TV - plasma, Internet - hi-fi is - free of charge. Sewing supplies, hair dryer and nice little things - gel, shampoo, hats - everything is there. Double bed, light but warm blankets - just in case. Bedding is clean and fresh. The second bed on the second floor is a double mattress, really. Of the minuses - the shelf in the bathroom is located in such a way that you involuntarily beat your forehead against it, trying to wash yourself and a small shower cabin - a bit crowded. My son is 186.52 size - it was difficult for him to turn around)) And the rest - Cyprus, 3+ hotel - 4 stars.
Seven days we lived in a fairy tale. Room cleaning - to be honest, I only needed it to remove the watermelon peels, because every evening we took watermelons and melons at the local market and ate enough. So what's the deal with the calls - when is it more convenient for you for us to leave?
Cleaning - the first maid cleaned up like this - made the bed with a bedspread, took out the garbage, changed the towels. Fse. And the second, a day later, licked the room inside and out, even the balcony.
Towels - sets - for legs, face, body + beach - large, terry.
Swimming pool - a song - right there a jacuzzi - turn it on when you want. There are also sunbeds, tables, umbrellas and soft drinks. You can bask all day under the sun and in the pool, in peace and serenity, order whatever you want and wherever you want - to your room or directly to the pool - payment, again, as you want. We paid right away - a habit, but some paid in the evening, after dinner, when they sat at laptops in a summer cafe in the courtyard and enjoyed live singing and the coolness of the southern night.
By the pool, and indeed throughout the hotel, you can safely leave valuables - they will not be lost!
I was working for a lep-top and I wanted to buy myself - I went to the pool, leaving everything on the table and how much I was absent - my things were waiting for me so much))
The audience is not intrusive, but mostly Ukraine and Belarus. There are few Russians - apparently distrustful like me and afraid to go to no one knows where)
I didn’t see any drinking parties, nighttime serenades or brawls - everything is decent, on a level.
The staff is friendly, helpful and not intrusive. In the SPA - excellent workers, prices are either slightly lower or the same as in St. Petersburg. At the same time, they do not fawn over you, as in Cyprus or in Turkey - they communicate with you as with a VIP guest. With every!

Breakfast - quite extensive, but of course not Holliday Inn and not Radisson)) Dinner you choose yourself - they bring a sheet with a list of dishes. Also the choice is not so hot, but everything is fresh and tasty. The cook is excellent. Prices are acceptable. Milkshakes - 28-30 hryvnia, meat from 30 to 100. We personally ate at lunch to satiety for 150-200 hryvnia for three and did not even think about other cafes. Both my daughter and son got better!
Entertainment? Well, here you need to think what you want. We personally had enough excursions, which are offered by the sea in the village right on the way to the beach. Boring in principle - not in the villa - in the village. Firstly, it gets dark early, and the lighting of the village is the headlights of passing cars, and secondly, there is nothing there. That is - basically nothing! Yes, there is Courage, but on a dirty village beach, stuffed with shawarma tents. The beach itself does not attract in principle, the difference between the territory of the hotel and the pool is too striking, where everything is clean, comfortable and no one shoves with anyone, does not yell in the ear "Vasya, buy me a chukhrella! " does not spit in the water and does not put out a cigarette at your feet. There is no shopping in principle - only a lot of stalls with all sorts of crap at a fabulous price. Well, you can also understand - people earn.
But this has nothing to do with Argo.
To all the staff of the hotel I can only say - thank you for a great stay!
To everyone who is going to go to Argo - feel free to go! You will not regret.
I expose the photo to the incredulous, like me - I shot it personally. Everything is so - and the view from the window and the room and the hotel itself. Yes! I also visited the second building of Argo - in Camelot. The prices there are a little higher, the audience is more... exclusive and the atmosphere is deliberately lordly - that's why I didn't like it. But pulls on 4-5 stars and service and comfort and design.
Once again - THANKS, ARGO!
