Next time we will book a house just for us.
We hope that the owners of the boarding house will take into account our comments and correct the situation.

there is a good restaurant on the waterfront, they cook well.
In general, the boarding house "Beregovoy" has a good material base.
Disadvantages:
The territory of the boarding house is a rather steep mountainside, almost all movements are on the stairs, from our cottage (from the highest level) to the beach there are 220 steps. Unfortunately, not a single word is said about this on the site of the boarding house, all buildings are only indicated at a distance of 100 meters from the sea, and constant marches up the stairs significantly poison the rest. If we had known about such a feature of the location of the boarding house, we would not have gone for anything.
To the nearest settlement (settlement Maly Mayak) and the highway Simferopol - Yalta 4 km uphill along a steep and winding road. The administration of the boarding house does nothing to make it easier for vacationers to get to civilization. Offer to use the services of lured taxi drivers. Tariffs: to the Small Lighthouse - 50 UAH. (I remind you that this is only 4 km); to Yalta - 250 UAH; to Alushta - 150 UAH.
The local “civilization” is concentrated on the embankment and consists of two wretched shops (the assortment is beer and alcohol) and a restaurant with exorbitant prices (at least 1.5 times higher than in the Small Lighthouse and 2 times higher than in Yalta).
There is virtually no entertainment. For adults there is billiards at the restaurant. For children on the embankment there is a squalid playground (sandbox without sand and a couple of swings), a shooting gallery and a trampoline (it does not work regularly from time to time). The words animation and entertainment programs of the local administration are simply not familiar. The kids are very bored. To have fun, you need to go either to Yalta or to Alushta (see taxi prices).
On the beach there are large pebbles and healthy stones, the entrance to the sea is on cobblestones and stones. You can only sunbathe on the sunbeds. To enter the sea, it is desirable to have special rubber slippers.
From my point of view, most of the shortcomings in the boarding house are associated with poor-quality Soviet-style management.
Conclusion.
The quality of rest does not correspond to the money spent (including meals 1400 UAH per day). We will not come here again and do not recommend to others. For that kind of money in the Crimea, you can relax not so boring and monotonous, more interesting and meaningful.

I asked for a vacation not very far from Russia, at least in Russian, so that I could communicate. My daughter chose the Beregovoy boarding house near Alushta, and now I can RECOMMEND it. If health permits, then next year we will go with our grandchildren again. And the sea is clean, the place is green, green and QUIET, the food is very high quality, varied and good people just work on the buffet, I miss this in our Moscow bustle. The grandchildren were also satisfied - they participated in competitions, there were many children and mine did not have to be bored. We returned yesterday and already have great nostalgia for a good place and rest. Crimea is Crimea, we have always loved the South Coast during the USSR - now I am not disappointed either. We stayed for 10 days with 2 children. Nature delighted with its beauty. The sea was the cleanest. I have never seen such a clean place in Crimea. The room price is slightly overpriced. The staff didn't seem very friendly to us. The maid cleaned only 1 time in 10 days. It struck. Even in the most rundown hotels and boarding houses are cleaned more often.

Of course, there are a lot of steps in the boarding house, but for unloading it’s not bad to walk. There really is no entertainment. Boredom kids. One small playground with killer swings. In short, the pros: the sea, nature, food. Cons: unfriendly staff, lazy maid, overpriced.

We drove along the coast without armor without advice....to abum. We are descending from the Yalta highway near Alushta in the Maly Mayak... we drive up - a barrier. And behind the barrier is just PARADISE. Greenery, needles, air, silence. The aromas are the most healing... The nerves somehow immediately got in order.

The nerves somehow immediately got in order....the measured appeared....in general, we immediately felt well - we begin to really relax... The room is comfortable, the balcony overlooks our beloved sea, the staff friendly to the south, delicious food - a buffet (and not expensive !!! ) and beaches.
The beaches are their own, with sun loungers and clear water. I don’t believe that such a corner of paradise still exists in the Crimea. THANKS A LOT! It is a pity that two weeks flew by so quickly, we remember with great warmth....

We rested in the boarding house for the third time during these May holidays. The sea was lucky +17. Opened the season. Silence and beauty. The only thing that bothered us a little was that the embankment and beaches were put in order after winter storms and, as we understood, they were lined with paving slabs.

In June we want to come for two more weeks - post-school anti-stress. We hope that everything will be even better. As for the smell, we did not get it last year either in June or July.... but be sure to ask why such complaints. The restaurant is really good. Terrain relief, ....let's just say - we lead an active lifestyle and it is very pleasant for us to get a cardio load plus air. The child in the past and this year (now 8 years old) walked up the stairs without problems. We used not metal, but stone stairs - they are much more convenient. By the way, we lived in a log house with very decent plumbing and a shower, which is rare for the Crimea. Without a car, of course, it’s not convenient there, we periodically went out - since everything along the South Coast is nearby in this place. And so, to be honest. . . then for the Crimea it is quite an adequate option - of course, it’s not budgetary to relax, but in silence, next to the sea.... and most importantly - there are few people, no one bawls at night, does not sprinkle ice cream wrappers, chips.... and is not breathing. . . sorry overkill.... and a long embankment - my wife and I run in the morning. . . so let this review be for Beregovoy in support.... the place is good, the service is acceptable, the food is also quite (I'm talking about the dining room). In general, consider this, we recommend. . . they themselves checked, if something did not suit, then they agreed with the administration.

Separate entrance, wooden structure, spacious rooms, air conditioning - everything is super, if you don't leave the house. But. . . somewhere nearby there is a pig farm and the air day and night is not so wonderful. It is far enough to go to the sea, but the main thing is very (!! ) steeply down in the morning and, accordingly, up in the afternoon + part of this descent-ascent falls on dilapidated iron steps (no-no in wet slippers). I was with children - getting up for 15-20 minutes, mostly in the sun - it's torture. On the beach, places must be taken early, otherwise there will be no places. The so-called guards still need to be begged to put you a sunbed. The dining room of the boarding house is located another 100 meters above the log cabins and again a very steep climb. Therefore, we did not go there - firstly, it was high, and secondly, the smell of the canteen was frightening. We ate at a cafe on the waterfront - it's the only one there. Expensive even by Crimean standards, but tasty. There is no infrastructure. On a tiny embankment - one cafe with billiards, a mini-market, a food stall... and that's it. There is nowhere to go in the evening. It is impossible to get to the highway to go to Alushta, for example, on foot (at least with children) - a very long and steep climb, only by car. Taxi to Alushta - 150 UAH. one way - do not run into. In short, entertain yourself.
The surrounding nature is not so rich, in comparison with other places on the South Coast - one might even say miserable. There is no park, no other beauty.
I can’t say that everything was absolutely terrible, but I won’t go again, especially for 1200 UAH per day. without food, you can find places and more interesting.
