We stayed in July 2011. In general, I liked it. Pros: very beautiful place, excellent clean sea, clear water. The pebbles on the beach are already quite run-in, so they are no longer prickly. The beaches are clean, they strictly follow the order - do not smoke, do not enter with glass bottles. Of all the hotels located in Semidvorie, Da Vasco is located in the best location. There are 2 restaurants downstairs on the first floor. At the same time - quietly, because. all the noise, vanity and night singing - in Hellas. Silence in Da Vasco. The beach is also the best, especially for children. Gentle descent, pebbles, there is where to put sunbeds. On other beaches - either stones, or prickly, or immediately deep. The rooms are very spacious, good plumbing, decent furniture and utensils, there is a safe, good powerful air conditioning. It is possible to go on excursions in the Crimea directly from the hotel.
There are also disadvantages: the cost of the room is quite high, but the service does not match. Linen and towels are changed every 5 days. Although the room is cleaned every day, but the aunts just cover and hang everything back. Sheet - does not match the size of the mattress and always gathers in the middle of the bed in a lump. Breakfasts are banal. European breakfasts are very far away. More like a children's pioneer camp. Regarding the beach - everything would be fine, but because. the beach is the best, then all the vacationers of the area converged there and there were a lot of people, although 50 meters nearby (near Irey) - no one at all!
There are no ATMs nearby, so bring cash with you. There are no shops with non-food items either (there was only one aunt with a minimal assortment), so prepare swimsuits, swimming trunks, slippers and circles for children in advance. On the territory you can buy household chemicals, basic products, drinks, ice cream.

But in general - I liked the rest. In silence, tranquility, very good for children. I studied various options on the Internet for a long time and realized that in Crimea there are not so many such places with their own beach 10 meters from housing, with beautiful nature, remote from the city. I am satisfied with my choice! I especially recommend visiting the Sky Lounge Cafe on the fifth floor. Great food and amazing live music!
