Rested family I husband and daughter 3 years old in August 2009.
The weather wasn't very lucky. The sea is 22 degrees Celsius.
But they went swimming every day.
Now about Alushta and the Demerdzhi hotel itself.
The hotel is cool, located near the city center, literally 10 minutes walk to the center. My husband used this convenience - he walked around the city, took pictures.
The hotel has its own beach, small-pebbly, the beach is spacious, equipped, there is a place for smokers, there is an inexpensive cafe "Hermitage" nearby, where my daughter went to eat ice cream with fruit and drink Paraffin cocrail through a straw.
There are no jellyfish in the sea, the sea is relatively clean and the bottom is visible if you look closely for a long time.
It takes 7 minutes to walk from the hotel to the beach through the central park, past the sculpture of the miracle fish, the favorite of children, donkeys, attractions and tents with souvenirs, cotton candy and motorcycles for boys.

After dinner, it was useless to go to the sea at first it was hot, and then it gets dark early and it becomes cool by 5 o'clock in the evening.
On the beach, no outsider offered chuchkhela and baklava. We were calm for our belongings, and the passage was only according to sanatorium books.
The territory of the hotel is significant in size. A landscape designer worked on the territory. Very beautiful. Luxurious firs, arborvitae, fan palms, laurel balls, trimmed trees, exotic flowers were planted. There is even an alpine slide and a solarium with cacti and milkweed. Benches with monograms are just a miracle. There is a stone stream and a pond with fish, and a bridge across the stream.
The buildings are two-four storey, modern and cozy.
The staff is very polite. Our security guard greeted us when we left the gate to the beach in the morning and wished good evening when we returned.
We had a deluxe room, but without a balcony. The windows overlooked the courtyard. Furnished modernly, with air conditioning, but without "raisins", without taste, in office style. Peach-colored walls and bedspreads, curtains, burgundy simple towels, pastel linen - with flowers. There are two bedside tables next to the pastel, and a sconce above them. And above the bed is a reproduction with a painted rose.
The room has a shower and toilet. Everything is convenient.
In the dining room, which is located in a separate building, there was always a sea of people. They cook delicious, but the dishes are not national, this is a dining room, not a restaurant. Made like a buffet. That is, take as much as you want, as much as you eat.
Here is my typical dinner: a boiled egg, an eggplant appetizer "Secret", Korean beets, young baked potatoes with mushrooms, meat with cheese. And of course, peach, watermelon, ice cream with waffle and chocolate sauce, tea with nougat.
When I was choosing a hotel, I fell for the blue pool with jacuzzi. They are luxurious and flawless. The pictures in the pool are amazing.

There is a playground with a house, a slide for skiing, and a table for drawing. With children there are held nightly dance classes. Many go. We went once, top daughter said she wants to walk on the rides.
Yes, in the evening in Alushta there is where to take a walk. The air is clear, indifferent, fresh. All the same, we are in the foothills of the blacksmith mountain.
If you want, go to the beach, listen to how the sea rolls pebbles. If you want, go to the Alushta "Arbat", there are buzzing attractions - a rocket, a mill, crazy slides. From cafes, singers and chansonniers yell and shout over each other. On the street, informals arrange mini-concerts.
Cafes - darkness. Barbecue is fried, you can try mussels and rapans. Khachapuri, honey baklava, milk corn, etc. etc.
We rode on water swans, rode along the coast on a boat, went to the Alushta terrarium. twice for children's amateur performances, took pictures with the animators of "Malvina", "Shrek". In general, "perestroika is noisy, " as my husband said.
Many excursion programs we went to Yalta.
And of course we liked our trip to the demerdzhi, to the equestrian club. At the Golden Horseshoe Ranch, we rode horses, drank tea from herbs smelling of mountain honey.
