Accidentally going to the page with reviews, I could not resist not to add my opinion. Has it really become so bad in the two years that we rested in the Blue Wave? We personally liked everything.
Rest with a child of 3. The conditions are wonderful. The rooms are clean. The bed and towels are new. The furniture and plumbing are solid. The staff is attentive. Wonderful view from the window. Yes, the building is still Soviet, but the repair is quite decent (we rested in the old building). We didn't see a single cockroach. The fact that the steep descent to the beach is just ridiculous. Where did you see the South Coast without steps? Alushta, unlike the big Yalta, is just a plain. My child walked quietly several times a day.
I think the weak link is the almost lack of own territory, poor organization of leisure. Regarding the dining room: the food is hearty, but did not differ in variety, few vegetables and very slow service.
