I was vacationing with my wife and child in June 2011. Just a few days ago we left...
In short, the rest at Villa IvaMaria is magnificent, and now for all the points in more detail:

Accommodation: rested in a junior suite. The room is gorgeous! In terms of equipment, it outperforms many Turkish fives (I speak as a tourism manager who has seen enough of them).

The site (although it is beautiful) does not have enough information. Double bed + sofa bed (very convenient for those traveling with children under 6 years old - which are free of charge, for 3 adults - you will need to pay extra), a table, a wardrobe (inside a safe), a spacious refrigerator and a mini freezer (with an ice mold), a kettle, glasses, cups, a couple of saucers, knives, forks, teaspoons (take tea, coffee with you), a dressing table (mirror + table + ottoman), a table + chairs and a clothes dryer on the balcony (by the way, there is a basin in the bathroom who needs to wash something). I don’t know about the iron, maybe there is one on the floor, I didn’t ask.
There is a hair dryer in the shower, the hotel provides soap and shampoo. + a whole set of towels (small, large, beach). Change of towels - on request.
Cleaning - if desired, at least daily - for this, you just need to leave the key at the reception before going to the beach, and that's all - the cleaning will be done by your arrival. Don’t expect the maid to put some animal out of the towels on your bed, like in Turkey, but the cleaning itself will be done very well (I didn’t even expect the maid to wash all the dishes that I carelessly left on the balcony after dinner) everything is clean and tidy , the beds are made.
In a word - the room is on the level, everything is new, beautiful, and the view from the balcony ...it's something ...(see photo)

Infrastructure: swimming pool (water 26 * - personally checked daily) with countercurrent. on the one hand, it seems like a depth of about 1.80 m. on the other hand, from which the entrance is about a meter)
There is also a small recreation area with flowers, benches, a fountain (very beautiful when the lights are turned on in the evening)
Elevator (very fast, did not experience the slightest inconvenience, due to the fact that they settled on the 5th floor. on the contrary - a view of the sea ... )
About 100 meters from the hotel there is a grocery store (in the Lazurny hotel), there is also a small playground (in the IvaMaria hotel it seems to be there too - but very small. There is a big hope that they will add a couple of swings - the place nearby allows). By the way, near the beach of IvyMaria, there is a playground of another sanatorium with animators (childcare - 30 UAH / hour).

Beach: you need to go down 200-300 meters. The waterfront has its own rented area - with sunbeds and umbrellas. There are not many people. There is a "beach caretaker" from IvaMaria, who will help you lay out the sunbed, look after things while you go down to the sea to swim. (photo of Iva beach - area with green carpet in the photo)
Nutrition:

The price includes breakfast for two. The breakfast is weak when compared with the same Europe, but in the Crimea this is the norm. Everywhere so, if not worse. That's right - overeating is bad!
I note that I (95 kg) have never been hungry, the breakfast supply was enough until lunch)
Complex lunch — 85 UAH per person
Complex dinner — 80 UAH per person
There are 2 types of a set menu to choose from, if there are two of you, it is profitable to order both types, then you will get at least 6 different dishes on the table, and then change with each other.
Lunches and dinners are very satisfying.
I note that in 5 days, there were practically no repetitions! Every day something new!
The order is usually made a day in advance (leaflets with the proposed menu are handed out for breakfast), although you can order 2 hours in advance.
Binding of the complex by time: breakfasts (from 8.30 - 9.30), lunch (13.00-14.00), dinner (19.00-20.00).
Another point - one table is reserved for you for the entire period of rest.
If there are free ones on the summer playground - take it only there - the sea view is crazy ...
You can eat without being tied to a set menu, and order dishes from the menu. It will come out a little more expensive, twice as much, but for me (a resident of Kiev) - the prices on the menu are very reasonable, if not low: (offhand Greek salad - 48 UAH, spicy pork - something around 60, fries - 22, Chernihiv beer 0.5 - 15 UAH). UAH 150 per person on average. Pretty reasonable prices. ) + to the cost of the check - 10% service charge.
You can order food in the room - 20 UAH.
Although we ourselves sometimes took plates of food to the room (the child is used to eating in front of the TV), and then naturally lowered the dishes.

The price of the room includes the use of the barbecue. We did not use it, since it is far from the bazaar in Alushta on our own. For those who have a car - a great option. We bought meat, fried it on a site equipped with everything from firewood to a tap with water.
The waiters even seem to help with table setting.

I didn’t get to the wine cellar for tasting, I won’t say anything, I didn’t go to the sauna and the billiard room (billiards - 50 UAH per hour).

Of the shortcomings:
remoteness from the central embankment (15 minutes walk), although for those who are looking for a secluded quiet rest (like us) this is even a plus.
Although electric cars belonging to the sea boarding house run along the embankment. (price not known).
Grocery store - I already wrote above, next to it. Pharmacy - far away, on the waterfront.

To summarize - a holiday at the Villa - for those who are looking for a calm, beautiful, romantic and respectable holiday
with family or with your soulmate.

Many thanks to all the staff for the rest from the Kovalenko family (it’s a pity that he only came for 5 days).

P. S. Many times I came across the Crimean service - dissatisfied faces of the attendants - but here, I did not encounter this.
All the staff are friendly and welcoming, especially the "beach keeper") It was very nice when they congratulated me on my birthday with champagne and a gift, and when I left they gave me a branded cup as a keepsake - very nice!

In general, whoever has any questions about the villa and the rest, I will answer everyone if possible: zilli@online. ua.
