I rested at this base every year from 2002 to 2005. I must say that I am a very unpretentious tourist, if there is beautiful nature around, there is where to wash and eat, then this is quite enough for me. And indeed, while the base belonged to "Krymtur", neither the living conditions, nor food, nor the territory caused any particular complaints. And the lights worked, and the territory was normally cleaned, and the houses were maintained in a more or less normal condition. Moreover, taking into account the cost of accommodation and meals, it was simply impossible to find something better for this money. And they even tried to entertain vacationers, organized magnificent excursions with experienced instructors (after all, it was just a camp site). But, unfortunately, 2005 was the last year when it became clear that there was no point in resting at this base. Yes, probably, the beauty of the underwater world is indeed a big plus, but since 2005, the lights could still be repaired. . . After all, in the evenings there is nothing to do at the base itself, because. k. all cafes are located on the waterfront. And even if you don’t go to a cafe, but just want to sit on the seashore in the evening, then it’s really not very fun to return back without lighting. About the terrible food in 2005 (before that there were no complaints, but on the contrary only praise! ) I don’t even want to write, and this despite the fact that I repeat - I am a completely unpretentious person in this regard. I can note one plus in the diet of 2005 - the constant availability of kefir for dinner, and sometimes for breakfast - we collected so much that we found great use for it - we soaked meat in it for barbecue (we were in a car and it was easy to hit the road to Alushta for meat) . Well, otherwise, I got the impression that the new owners absolutely do not care about the vacationers and they are just waiting for the houses to completely fall apart and they will build expensive hotels in their place. It's a pity, because the place is really very beautiful. . .
