I have been resting in this boarding house for 4 years already and I think that I can give a fairly objective assessment. First about the pros. The first is the Crimea with its unique climate, the second is the Black Sea with a no less unique composition of water, the third is that the conditions in the boarding house are as close as possible (as far as possible in the conditions of modern Ukraine) to European ones. The territory of the boarding house is very beautiful, it is constantly watered, there are many swimming pools, there are two small playgrounds, billiards, a computer club for teenagers, a children's room for the little ones (you can leave it quietly for a couple of hours), there is security at the entrances that prevents outsiders from entering the territory, the beach by its nature, perhaps the best in the Crimea, there is a round-the-clock doctor on duty, during the day they take two or three specialists for an extra charge. fee. In general, the whole situation is quite respectable.
Now about the "underwater" part of the rest.
the boarding house itself, of course, functions with the sole purpose of pumping money out of rich Pinocchio, but for objective reasons, it does not work out very well, because 80% of the guests are Ukrainians, 15% are middle-class Russians, and the management is apparently I would like to see rich Japanese in them, or at least not poor Americans. It is on this contradiction that all the shortcomings of rest in this place are based. On the one hand, large additional payments are expected from you, and on the other hand, in general, there is nothing to pay for, not the level. During the four years that I have been going there, there have been constant changes aimed at reducing the costs of the boarding house, that is, at worsening the conditions for recreation. In addition, the staff works locally, and it is difficult for them to come out of hibernation, so the service is lower than stated.

The first time I went there was in 2004. Super impressions. Everything is almost perfect. The same Turkey is only in the Crimea and two times cheaper.
I thought that among the clients there would mainly be entrepreneurs from Moscow, but I saw there mainly officials from Ukraine. They love to relax there at the expense of their departments. The conditions are not bad, not abroad, and in the contract with the boarding house there is a clause that a third party can act as a payer. Second time in 2007 Compared to the first time, breakfast and service on the beach have deteriorated significantly. There is a stupid unspoken rule to occupy sunbeds for the whole day. Moreover, the beach workers will gladly do it for you for an additional fee. Payment. Therefore, if you are late for breakfast, then you will not find a place by the sea even close, although half of the sunbeds will be empty all day. The number of officials decreased in exchange for the families of Ukrainian entrepreneurs of the middle class (sometimes looked like a collective farm).
For those staying in suites, breakfast was organized on the embankment in the new Dorado restaurant with champagne and fruit, though not always enough for everyone. Some acquaintances found out about their right to have breakfast there the day before departure. For twenty-five days, no one told them about it - lo-e-service! Here's a bummer! Third time 2008 Breakfast killed with its monotony and became even worse than in 2007. In the rest, almost everything is the same. True, a group of active animators appeared, who slightly diluted the gray everyday life of the rest. By the way, in the evening there is almost always some kind of unpretentious musical program on the territory of the boarding house, and three times a week you can listen to the violin. The rooms are not bad, the linen is of excellent quality, however, our sofa smelled slightly of dog, and when the child ran barefoot on the carpet in the room, his feet were blacker than the asphalt on the embankment. 2009 - Breakfast has improved dramatically! Looks like there have been complaints.
By the way, in 2008, many vowed not to go there again. The beach was divided into two zones - for "Suites" and for the rest. There is virtually no difference except moral. The animators have deteriorated to almost imperceptible. In fairness, it must be said that the boarding house is one of the best in the Crimea (I saw a lot of things there), and of course rest in Paradise with Sea is comparable to VAZ with Mercedes. Another of the advantages of the "Sea" is the consistently high quality of food for the Crimea, because in the Crimea you can pick up an intestinal infection like two fingers on the asphalt. However, no one will protect the water of the pool and the sea from these microbes. And yet, with all these big pluses, crossing the road you will get to one of the best beaches in the Crimea, but next to you there will be densely populated beaches of neighboring inexpensive boarding houses, and after 300m - the city beach "Working Corner" with a pier for motor ships.

Thus, on a relatively small (about 500m) section of the beach, several thousand vacationers are resting at the same time, and there is only one toilet on the embankment and there is never a queue for it. Yes, and where from it that is drained, one can only guess. Here you can appreciate the quality of a rather expensive holiday. One more little thing. For the convenience of tourists, a special electric car can be taken from the beach to the villa for free (so as not to die when climbing uphill), however, it is unrealistic to wait for it. The garage of the boarding house is full of cars, but they are in no hurry to roll them out, only for the especially patient and meticulous.
I noticed that over the years the contingent of the boarding house has stabilized. Lots of familiar faces. And many people travel with children because of the mild climate of the Crimea and relatively good conditions. However, the management of the boarding house does not react to this circumstance in any way. There is no animation now, evening leisure is not for children, not for adults!?
In general, in my opinion, the managers there are stupid and sleepy, like the whole Alu-u-ushta-ah. It would be possible to come up with something more interesting for the money.
All these years, dinner at the boarding house was at a consistently high level - a buffet. Of course, not without queues and local conflicts, but "in war as in war", but in this - 2010 it was completely canceled! At the same time, the price has not actually changed and is currently equivalent to a holiday in Greece. Who will go there now?
