Traveled with my wife in 2005. A surprise for us was a very well built hotel More in Alushta. Cool buildings for any income, we chose the SPA center.
In terms of the range of services, it is very similar to 4 stars abroad. Everywhere is clean, several pools and a private beach.
All this would sound good, but as always in our country, everything depends on people, that is, on staff who work for the benefit of tourists.
Let's start with breakfast, ie. they didn’t have time with the buffet in the Sea, then one is missing, then the other, little things, but you’re wasting time...

Then, the pools. . . there hasn't been a free place since 7.00 in the morning! Citizens suffering from insomnia are apparently guarding sunbeds since early morning... unpleasant, but not critical, there is still a beach... we go to the beach - again there is no free place, as we later found out, local watchmen, by agreement with tourists, take them for a commission places in advance, they put towels, stones on the sunbeds, in general, if there is something, then we definitely won’t find an umbrella for the sunbeds already...
In principle, the rest is not bad, I respect investors - they tried, but I didn’t want to go out of the beautiful Sea to the city - very gloomy streets, everywhere there is trade in all sorts of nonsense, in general I can advise it to calm people : -)
