In continuation of our trip to the Crimea, 2 adults and 2 children aged 11 and 2 (already wrote a review about Aquamarine in Sevastopol) I am writing a review about porte mare. I will not write lyrical digressions about nature and weather, since this is not the first time in the Crimea and in particular in Alushta. About the hotel: the reviews on the site, to be honest, are so-so. Therefore, having familiarized ourselves with them, we decided to try for ourselves what Turkey is in Crimean. Accommodation is a junior suite: two small rooms in one, a double bed in the other, a folding sofa, access to the balcony from each room, a refrigerator, a table, a TV in each room, all kinds of bathrobes, slippers, towels, both ordinary and beach ones, in general, everything is there. Food-buffet-without question for normal 4 stars (I don’t know how, according to the reviews, someone remained hungry) at lunch, though, it’s not a buffet, but everything is quite tasty. Animation: there is nothing to write about it, and so everyone wrote that everything is fine. Sea: 10-15 minutes walk (with a small child). Yes, there is a tunnel, but the comments of many about its such terribleness are not clear. The tunnel is like a tunnel of one hundred and fifty or two hundred meters. Even not bad. Not so hot to go. Special marine animators are also on duty at the sea, who arrange riding on a slide (inflatable) and other amusements. Cafe on the beach with delicious coffee. An electric car runs to the beach every half an hour, but it is clearly not enough. Buying another one would clearly remove issues with some remoteness of the beach and the tunnel. But once again I repeat the tunnel did not bother us. The road to the beach is almost in a straight line by Crimean standards. (well, let's take a slight slope towards the sea). In general, not everything is as bad as they write. Even I would say good. The overall rating is that they got their four stars legally. Another tip: if you are with children, then you definitely go there. Children play very well with each other and animators and do not get much from their parents (there is no better offer in my opinion in the Crimea). If you don't have kids, think about it. There are a lot of kids here though. The only problem for us turned out to be that we didn’t book a room in advance, but we stopped in “hurriedly” and now they promise to extend our stay for only two days, and there are no further places. It's a pity. Have a good rest.
