Shock from Porto Mare. We did not expect such a meeting.
It's our husband's wedding anniversary, we decided to go somewhere to escape from the hustle and bustle. There are many resorts on the coast, but we immediately thought about Alushta, somehow it has already taken root with us, the status behind it, a place for family holidays. Liked several hotels. Among the main ones were "Sea", "Golden Ear" and Porto Mare. We looked at the photos and read the reviews. "Sea" turned out to be with a large number of slides on the territory, "Golden Ear" with a bar "USSR" and judging by the photos with barmaids at the counters and plastic cups for guests. In general, we rested at the Porto Mare Park Hotel from December 1 to December 7. We decided to try something completely new and different. And they made the right choice. We went to the site, looked through several rooms in a 3D tour. I liked the junior suites, but they were placed in the standard. The service at the hotel was at a high level, the booking manager told us in great detail about the infrastructure of the hotel, so we had an idea where we were going. We talked about the anniversary in advance.
We arrived at the hotel, where we were met by a smiling guy-administrator in cranes (or whatever he has on his jacket). Settled quickly and with a smile. Everything is clean and comfortable. The maids are quite nice and pleasant. We went down to dinner at the restaurant, the administrator Margarita talked to us, who helped us with the choice of dishes on the Swedish line. We had a very satisfying meal, and decided to find out if it was possible to have a romantic dinner at the hotel restaurant. The manager of the restaurant, Yuri, offered us to spend time in the VIP room, I would especially like to highlight his invaluable help in choosing wine, and a very interesting story about the technology of growing and processing grapes.

Late in the evening, on the advice of Maxim, the receptionist, we went for a walk to the waterfall. And they were pleasantly surprised. We certainly did not expect to see such a beautiful man-made architectural structure in Alushta. 144 shades of backlight colors, an unusual shape of the waterfall itself, and a huge size.
Either the wines that Yuri advised us, or the Crimean air, or the atmosphere of the hotel, but the whole subsequent week flew by like an instant. I didn't want to leave the hotel grounds. They ate and drank and had fun. Very pleasant animation service, occupied us both day and night.
Somehow the whole staff made a strong impression on us.
But the most indelible impression is still left from the waterfall, it is simply gorgeous. I can happily recommend the Porto Mare Park Hotel.
