To begin with, I started looking for a place to stay in the winter. Our vacation fell at the beginning of August, we wanted to go to the Crimea, and the requirements for the place were simply incompatible with one another. We wanted to have beautiful nature, clear sea, free beach, housing with all amenities, and with all this, a fairly developed infrastructure.

I shoveled through a mountain of sites, read thousands of reviews about different places, looked through a bunch of hotel pages. After a month and a half, I decided on three places: Kanaka, Sotera and Laspi Bay. A couple more weeks on the Internet and it was decided: Kanaka. Now I had to choose a place to live. In Kanaka, the choice of housing at first glance is quite large. But something that fits in all respects and does not go off scale in price, I was looking for a long time. As a result, I stopped at the Rikko hotel. I sent an advance payment, and we began to wait for the vacation.

We arrived in Kanaka late in the evening. They were very tired and very irritated. The road took longer than expected, because. It was raining and it was difficult to drive along the serpentine. In addition, in the dark we missed the turn to Kanaka, we had to return...

When they got to the room, the irritation began to go away. The room turned out to be very large, the mattress was comfortable, the sofa for my son was spacious. There was hot water in the shower and a kettle in the room. In general, everything turned out to be at a decent level.

In the morning we went to explore.

The beach was not just big, but huge. And free!! ! The sea, despite yesterday's downpour, was transparent. It stayed that way all the days of our vacation. We did not go to the central beach, we walked a little further and sunbathed on the beach, where the nearest people were about twenty meters from us. And this is in early August, during the peak season. The beach in Kanak is very clean, I did not find any garbage or cigarette butts. In general, Kanaka is a fairly clean and well-groomed place.

In Kanaka, you can walk along the embankment, again not crowded with people. The embankment is not long, but clean, there are benches, there are swing benches, there are benches with tables. Many have picnics there. There are no merchants on the embankment, no smell of food, etc. You can walk in the park of the Kanaka boarding house. The park is very well maintained, all flower beds are weeded, palm trees are watered, even dry leaves are removed from palm trees. We did not see mountains of rubbish typical for the Crimea. But in the morning, when we went to the beach, every day we saw a car collecting garbage. You can climb the mountain, where the main attraction is located - the juniper grove. The view from there is simply breathtaking! And the air. . . It cannot be described, it must be inhaled.

We brought such beautiful photos that our friends did not believe that we were filming.

SHOPS, MARKET.

There are several food shops in Kanaka, there is a small market. The choice of products is small, but bread, milk, etc. you can buy.

For meat-sausage it is better to go to the market in Rybachye. In the Kanaki market you can buy fruits and vegetables. However, I did not like the prices and assortment. We went a couple of times to the market in Sudak. Luckily, we were in the car. Although using public transport to go to the market in Rybachye is not a problem. Minibuses come to Kanaka. Or you can go to Rybachye on foot. On the beach one way hour and a half.

We ate at Sonya's Ozoda cafe. There is a custom menu, inexpensive and quite tasty. And you definitely won't get sick. In general, Kanaka has several cafes and a couple of bars. You can eat in canteen boarding houses. But I don't know how they eat there. They say the best is the enemy of the good. So we wanted to have lunch in a beautiful cafe Black Pearl. They served us well: quickly, politely. And just as well poisoned. For three days we were not to the sea and the beach.

TREATMENT, PHARMACY.

There is a pharmacy, we had all the medicines we needed. The prices are very inexpensive for us, because in Minsk, all the same drugs are 2 times more expensive. The pharmacy is open from 7 am to 7 pm. They say that there is a doctor in the boarding house, but we did it ourselves.

ENTERTAINMENT.

For those who love to party, Kanaka is not suitable. There is simply no entertainment here. You can sit in a cafe in the evening, you can go to a disco. But all the music stops at exactly 23-00. Kanaka for lovers of a relaxing holiday.

Will we go to Kanaka again? For this summer, I have already made a reservation for my husband and me at the same hotel. My son doesn't want to go with us. He is already a big boy and he will be bored there the second time. But for us it is a very good place. We were looking for just such a holiday.
