This year we went to Beregovoe with friends, 2 mothers and 2 daughters. The impressions are very sad, this is really a village, but not very quiet. The infrastructure is not developed, there are very few shops and many dirty and loud cafes. The beach is uncomfortable, they constantly walked in shells, it is dangerous to enter the water - you can twist your legs on boulders, and it's disgusting - algae. I floated on a mattress, he saved. One plus is that the water is clean.
Rudeness was often met. Much more often than in Moscow. In Russia, for the same money you will receive first-class service and a lot of pleasant experiences, but here you will be scolded for your own money. We went on an excursion "Pedestrian Karadag" with the firm "Feodosia-Resort", reached the mountains and it began to rain. The tour was canceled, the guide led the group back to the bus stop, and the bus left! Everyone was soaked to the skin, they ran to hide in neighboring buses while they found out where our driver was.
The guide relieved himself of all responsibility - it seems that he is just a hired employee, knows nothing, can't do anything, etc. After more than an hour, the bus finally arrived, and they "agreed" to take us home. People by this time were already angry in earnest: they were wet, tired, there were no excursions and no one was going to return the money! In the end, our group (15 people) returned the money for all these bullying, but this case is indicative: in Feodosia, all the service is like that. The prices are high (in Anapa, by comparison, you will spend less and rest much better), and everywhere they want to deceive you and extract more money without offering any services.
We arrived at a private boarding house (www. feod. ru) - we agreed back in May, booked 2 one-room double rooms, in July, before leaving, everything was confirmed again. When we arrived, we were offered to accommodate the four of us in a two-room suite (so-called.
"suite"), we were "conceded", and the cost of housing turned out to be more expensive by 100 rubles / day. Well, it would seem, we went towards each other, good. On the first day there was some kind of accident, and the water was turned off. Imagine the toilet in the bedroom where you sleep, there are 4 people in the room and there is no water? We were offered to wash "temporarily" on the street (by the way, such "amenities" in Beregovoe cost 15 hryvnias, and not 425 rubles per person, which were charged from us)! After the first accident, there was a second one, but we soon realized that such a situation is not uncommon here. If the hosts didn't state on their website about amenities and "permanent hot and cold running water", we would never have gone there! Okay, we endured both contrast showers and water cuts during washing. "Lux" is "lux".
Under the window a couple of times there were gatherings with a drink - this is not for everyone, but I personally came to rest. We even specifically stipulated when we booked the room that it would be quiet at night.
In the morning we expressed everything to the owners, and realized that we had made a mistake: we were given to understand that it would not be quiet, and in general, it would be better for us to rent a house, that the requirement of silence is completely impossible, etc. , etc. Here. Okay, we endured. I want to rest! When our friends left, we still had a week of rest. In addition, we had to change tickets, and we were delayed for another day. We warned the owners. They didn't say anything, they took note. We thought we would be moved to a one-room double room for the last week, as we agreed at first. But the owner "everything was busy", and we were left in the "suite" for 3 days under the threat of relocation. Then we were offered to move to a room without a balcony. And with a balcony, they say, we generally cost more. Nobody counted the fact that my friends and I overpaid a total of 1400 rubles in 2 weeks. We insisted on a room with a balcony.
Finally, on the last day, we were moved to another room, again two-room and with a balcony. And we understood what "not luxury" means. The toilet is leaking (although in the suite it also leaked, even in the middle of the night a hose came off and flooded the entire bathroom), it was obviously not cleaned for a long time, there were cobwebs on the walls, the shower was icy - and it’s good that at least there was water! We already thought - we will endure, and that's it. There's still a little left. But on Saturday morning (we were leaving on Sunday) they announced to us that our room costs 1500, and we, so be it, are inferior to it for 1000! This was already the last straw. We passed 3 houses along the same street and rented a room for a day for 100 hryvnias (500 rubles) WITH ALL AMENITIES.
The first time we washed properly! The hosts were very friendly. The rooms were clean, you could cook in the kitchen (in the first boarding house you could eat with the owners for an additional fee, or in a restaurant that the owner indicated - "otherwise we'll get poisoned", we couldn't even boil the kettle ourselves ...
) In general, we realized that our former owners were fooling us, and regretted that we had not moved earlier.
