Traveled with my husband last July.
Previously, Ai-Todor was one of the corps of Marat. The territory is common and the beach, respectively, too... However, Ai-Todor vacationers were allowed only on the 3rd card (together with local residents). As rightly noted in other reviews, the beaches are narrow, so in the high season there is no place to find there at 9 am! We went to the beach until 7 am and after 7 pm just to swim. At this time there is really free! But if the goal is to lie down, sunbathe, then you should think about how to be, what to do. True, it’s a bit far from the beach of Marata (Ai-Todora), the stairs are steep, it’s hard to return home after swimming! The bus from "Marat" carried only its own people. The sea, in general, is clean, transparent, I was only embarrassed by the half-dead jellyfish that were in abundance there... There were no sun loungers on the 3rd map, there is also no locker room, you need to go up to the "embankment". By the way, the water temperature was 25-26 degrees, the air usually heated up to 30-32. In general, the beach of Ai-Todor did not evoke positive emotions in me. My rating for the beach: 3.
We bought vouchers with paid breakfast and I must say we fed there quite well (Silver cafe is not a restaurant, of course, but rather a good dining room). Never leave the table hungry. You can have lunch and dinner here. You can choose from: complex lunches and dinners (cheaper, in 2009 they cost 50 and 40 UAH, respectively) or order from the menu. The waiters are quite friendly and helpful. Tables are served on the outdoor terrace or indoors. However, we were lucky with the weather and we always ate in the fresh air!

I would also like to tell you about the boarding house itself, the rooms and the territory. We have chosen the standard. air-conditioned room (south, sea view). The room itself is quite small, it was difficult to walk until the beds were moved. There is a refrigerator, TV, air conditioning - everything worked properly. The balcony is also small, with plastic furniture, but it seemed uncomfortable. Therefore, we went out there to hang wet clothes and admire the view (very beautiful)! The room was cleaned, towels and linen were changed, as stated on the website. There were no special complaints. Room rating: 4. Ai-Todor has almost no territory of its own, so we walked in other places. Fortunately, it is easy to get from Gaspra in all directions. Stop nearby. That's why I'm giving this resort a 5 star for its location.
Has its own pool. In the first days we used it, it was not bad to plunge there after a lunch break, at 4 o'clock. Then the administration decided to clean the pool, apologized for the temporary inconvenience. It didn’t work out for only one day, they cleaned it for about 2 days, then they collected water day and night. The rest of the time the water was heated, but it never got above 24 degrees before we left. It turned out that there was no special heating by the pool, only the sun! In short, it's a scam!
Here's something else I would like to say: I do not advise non-smokers to choose this hotel, especially those who do not tolerate tobacco smoke! It was like this for us: when we arrived, we came to the Crimea to breathe healing air; while we were walking during the day, the air conditioner maintained a comfortable temperature in the room, but in the evening I wanted to open a balcony! It is a natural desire, but it was not there! Neighbors got us smokers, and both husband and wife. Smoked on the balcony and together, and in turn, and in the morning, and before going to bed. Our requests "in a good way" to quit smoking, smoke less and on a separate balcony from the corridor were refused (they have a child who cannot be left alone)... The administration also could not help, only shrugged. Like, we have such a position, we even put ashtrays in the rooms. In short, they lag behind fashion, encourage smokers!
It should be noted that the price-quality ratio in Ai-Todor is normal. I can say about myself that next time I will choose another sanatorium, because. our priorities on the trip were swimming in the sea and walking, excursions. And if a lot of positive emotions and photos remained from our trips along the South Coast, then I was not completely satisfied with the sea...
