We returned from Ai-Todor a few days ago. We spent 13 days there, they flew by in an instant. I want to say right away that we rested there for the second time, our previous trip there was in July 2009. It would seem that last time we tried the neighborhood, we thought we would go to the sea, swim in the pool, in general we were preparing ourselves for passive recreation at the sea. It wasn’t there, this year we went on other excursions, went to Sevastopol for a parade to show our son real warships, walked along other paths and a little bit along the old ones, because by the alluring beauty of the Swallow or luxurious Yalta (especially in the evening), Vorontsovsky and Livadia palaces cannot be passed by any means, it pulls and pulls to look at IT again. As a result - a bunch of new impressions and emotions, places seem to be already familiar, and at the same time, you rediscover something new for yourself there.
The boarding house and its staff, like last year, left only positive emotions. Everything is flawless! It was very pleasant that as soon as we arrived, we were greeted with a smile, moreover, already familiar faces (chief administrator Galina Ivanovna, thank you, just thank you! ), the registration procedure took several minutes, they immediately gave us the key to the room, a pass to beach, cable car and go, the vacation has begun. There was an impression that we came to visit good friends who are glad to see you, were waiting for you... This year we had a northern standard room on the 5th floor, the southern one is certainly better due to the view. Thank you very much to the maid who cleaned us, unfortunately they didn’t ask her name, a short woman with a haircut, dark. Very friendly, smiling. I repeat once again, but the staff in Ai-Todor is all like that, very nice and tactful people work there for our benefit, for which THANKS to them!
Cafe "Silver" was slightly reconstructed, they made another large hall, with cond. There are many wooden tables outside where you can eat or just sit if you wish. They are located mainly near the pool.

The children's disco is the same as last year. Our son, when the clowns Mityuni and Sonya, familiar from last year, appeared, especially Mityuni went to her with pleasure, and we, too, were very cheerful, noisy, funny. This year there are a lot of children, they draw with them, there are darts, a playground. I would like to note that animation this year "gained weight", I mean that there are new shows that were not there last year, but very amazing. Show ballet, Comedy club is a must see. Who likes to participate in contests (the winners are given prizes: a milkshake or a bottle of wine. . . ) be sure to go, I advise you to "Best couple" (knock on the pan) - a very kind, funny contest. All these shows are held next to Ai-Todor club "Viking", after the show there is a disco. To animators Dima, Sonya, bartenders and a little artists Slavik and Yarik, a huge hello from us and our son Tyoma!! ! Thank you for your care and attention!!!
This year, the cable car began to work, it's just super, it takes 7 minutes to the beach from Ai-Todor, no queues. The beach itself also pleased us, we went to Maratovsky (map 2): there is a large shady area, sun loungers, showers, changing rooms. The only thing I want to say to those who are going there, take care of rubber shoes for the beach and swimming, because this year there are large pebbles on the beach, it hurts to walk barefoot. But it's like someone, we somehow got used to it.
The pool is cool, the water was 28-30 degrees, water gymnastics, water polo are held in it, I myself participated in everything, I really liked it, especially polo.
This is how we rested in Ai-Todor this year. Again pleased with its comfort and even homely attitude towards vacationers, Gaspra pleased with its air and warm velvety sea!! ! We really hope to be back there! See you soon, Ai-Todor and thank you for these fabulous days!! !
