Good afternoon to everyone who wants to go on vacation to the Ai-Todor boarding house. Today we returned from vacation, I thought I would write a huge review about the boarding house, but there is simply nothing to add to the positive review of Katrin. Everything in her review is true. And the atmosphere is friendly and the animators are great. I will not repeat.
We chose the boarding house based on the reviews of vacationers, it immediately attracted attention that the administration of the boarding house reads reviews and gives comments, which means they care about what is happening in the hotel. Well done. So the choice was made.
You can get to the boarding house in several ways: from Simferopol by minibus to the Yalta bus station, and then transfer to the 27 minibus to the Marat stop. It takes about 1.5 hours to Yalta and another 25-30 minutes from Yalta. It is possible from Simferopol by bus "Simferopol-Alupka" to the stop "Marat" travel time 2.25 the road is not tiring, because from Alupka it runs along the coast.

There is another way, maybe someone will come in handy: from Sevastopol by bus "Sevastopol-Miskhor" travel time is 1.5 hours, and from Miskhor by any minibus along the way another 5 minutes to Marat.
We had a Standard South room with a sea view. The view is amazing, however, there is a motor road below, but the noise is not heard, or it does not interfere, or we are just used to the Moscow noise. The room suited us just fine.
I also liked the fact that you can take a ticket without meals, and on the spot, if desired, pay extra for complex meals 130 gr. , or separately for breakfasts, lunches, dinners, or just eat according to a customized menu. The main thing is that there is a cafe on the territory.
We are ok. I liked the cafe "At the mother-in-law" (3 minutes walk), Ukrainian cuisine, EVERYTHING is cooked very tasty, I serve quickly.
We didn’t manage to catch water polo and gymnastics, because at that time we were already at sea, so I can’t say anything, but I saw how they do it with the kids, the children are delighted.
On vacation, we met vacationers from the Marat Hotel, they have absolutely no animation and the pool is open until 20-00 (in Ai-Todor until 22-00), they say that the children were put to bed, now they would swim, but everything is already closed. So they envied us.
The fact that the management organized animation in the hotel is a big plus.
There is a library about the boarding house (round the clock).
For those who have not been to the Crimea, I want to note the location of the boarding house. The boarding house is located near the bus stop, 20-25 minutes to Yalta by minibus, 5 minutes to Lastochka, or 20 minutes on foot, 15 minutes to Livadia. go to the Vorontsov Palace 20-25 by minibus, to Ai-Petri 10 min. drive, or 25-30 minutes walk. You can walk to Miskhor (or drive 3 minutes), there is Miskhor Park, and from the embankment there are boats to Alupka and Gurzuf.
There are many different cafes and shops on Maratovsky Pyatochka.
There is one minus - there is absolutely no place to walk in the evening.

Pyatochek can be bypassed in 10 minutes, and walking at least to Miskhorsky Park in the evening is life-threatening, because there are almost no sidewalks and you have to walk along the road, which is poorly lit. Us, however, this nuance is not very good. upset, because we traveled a lot during the day.
I was also struck by the fact that the village of Gaspra itself, if you climb from the Maratovsky heel higher to the Yasnaya Polyana sanatorium, is very dirty. Literally, bottles, bags and various garbage are lying on the road, either these are visiting pigs, or the local administration does not allocate money for cleaning the territory, it is clean only in the areas of boarding houses.
Tourists, take care of the Crimea! ! ! This wonderful peninsula with its historical monuments and nature reserves is slowly being destroyed. And this is the little that the Russians have left (although it is now abroad).
I summarize the above: REST SUCCESSFUL. The boarding house is good. I will remember and miss.

P. S.
Update the bed linen, otherwise the hotel is good, but the holes on the linen are undignified.
