I will adequately describe Ai-Todor-South - considering approximately the same price in other hotels, both desired and received.
We went in the second half of September from the 15th to the 22nd.
Having planned a vacation in advance for a month and having booked places through a travel agency, I decided to call Ai-Todor-South to find out minor questions. Was pleasantly surprised by the courtesy and hospitality of the receptionist. Despite the cold weather in September, we arrived at the hotel at 12 o'clock.
Registration took about 5 minutes - they told where and what to be, the cleaning and food schedule (it was divided there into 4 shifts from 7.30 to half an hour - they gave magnetized bracelets to enter the dining room, cable car and beach) and what we will eat in the neighboring building of the hotel park Marat in 1 shift.

They settled us at 12 o'clock - we were lucky that the room on the 3rd floor was already free and cleaned. A small room - with a balcony, 2 single beds shifted, 2 warm blankets, TV, refrigerator, air conditioning, a couple of bedside tables and chairs and plastic chairs and a table on the balcony.
The toilet is tidied up. Shower cabin - cold and hot water around the clock, however, to close the shower cabin - I had to fool around every time for a couple of minutes. From personal items, 3 towels and 2 soaps, which for some reason were not reported.
From daily cleaning - this is the removal of garbage, every day in the morning when we had breakfast. The floors were sometimes dirty, and in order to vacuum them, I had to go to the maid and ask them to clean them up. All white socks are black. The floors are wooden-Soviet creaking wooden parquet.
The general opinion of the room was to remain the best. It can be seen that the soviet hotel has not been particularly restored.
The only plus that I remember is the view from the room - a very beautiful sea and sunrises.
Food is a separate issue and disappointment. We came to rest - and instead of getting enough sleep - we had to get up earlier than for work - at 7 in the morning to eat. Dinner was at 18.00.
The breakfasts were disappointing. Icy boiled eggs, which apparently had been cleaned since yesterday evening, or even the day before yesterday. They even photographed the omelet - black. There were sausages, but even the cats on the territory did not want to eat them. In general, every day I drank coffee - scrambled eggs and sandwiches with butter and casseroles with sour cream.
Dinners were more pleasant + there was white and red wine. Good baked fish and chicken, meatballs. Pilaf is not bad. Grapes, watermelon and plums. There were salads - but I rarely saw more than two components in them: cabbage and butter, chopped cucumbers with mayonnaise, tomatoes - sprinkled with cheese, I was surprised to see a vinaigrette on the 4th day.
The people who came to the second shift were very amused and always lined up for food. The queues were delayed by 20 people or more. People came to this dining room from all the buildings of Marat.

In general, from the monotony, my stomach stopped on the 5th day. Mezim saved me. I didn’t understand why the normal reviews about food. For a two-bed standard and food - well, you can put up with it even more or less. But I can imagine the disappointment of people who paid more for the best rooms, but the food is like this.
From the week we lived, due to bad weather, we sunbathed and swam for 4 days near the pool until lunch. After breakfast at 9 in the morning, they came to the pool - just the sun was already heating the water.
It was very deduced that they have - the pool is cleaned every day from 14.00 to 16.00 and you can’t swim in it. Not only is it not heated - and just before lunch it heats up more or less from the sun and then immediately cleaning. And after 16.00 the sun hides behind the Ai-Todor building and there is nothing more to do there.
Well, you do this cleaning - after 16.00 when there are no people there !!
So we packed our things and went to the sea. Cable car Marat on bracelets - and after 3 minutes we are already on the beach.
There are a lot of sun loungers - but it happened that there weren’t enough on two beaches.
I even managed to swim a couple of times - the sea is cold this year, unfortunately, as is the weather.
In general, we tried to spend every day productively, especially on cold days. Excursions and hiking arranged almost every day. We walked along the Sunny / Royal path 7 km to Livadia.
The nature along the way is simply gorgeous - we couldn’t breathe in the pine trees. We saw a lot of sights and climbed Ai-Petri by cable car. We visited the parks of the surrounding hotels.
In general, summing up. Not counting the bad weather. Strange living conditions and monotonous food - the rest was not bad - because there were very few in the hotel.
Somehow we didn’t feel cozy and comfortable there, despite the fact that the staff is very friendly. The only thing that saves the hotel is the surrounding beautiful nature.
But we don't want to go back to this hotel.
