Review of Marat Park-Hotel

Park-hotel "Marat" is a terrible place! ! DO NOT transfer money and time! Do not raise your hand to write this name - there is a park, there is no hotel. After reading on the Internet a lot of offers about holidays, I compared reality with horror upon arrival. Let's start with the standard room, the cost of which we paid for 250 UAH. per person per night (breakfast included). Until now, it remains a mystery what is included in the cost of living in this room, except for the cost of 45 UAH. and daily cleaning, when even the dishes of the room include 2 faceted glasses of stagnant times, there is no trace of the telephone declared on the website, but these are only flowers.
At the reception upon arrival, we found an announcement that those who paid for 7 days of accommodation for each subsequent day can have a 25% discount, for some reason this was not announced on the site, we paid for 14 days and we were told that this does not concern us. But these are trifles of life compared to the road to the beach, which consists of an incomprehensible type of steps along which liquid of suspicious origin flows from the pipe of a nearby institution and goes straight to the beach. When trying to get around this foul-smelling unsanitary conditions, some of the vacationers wearing non-rubber shoes... just fall on a slipped asphalt slide, then in front of the beach itself an iron staircase with wooden steps awaited us, which in some places were split in two - we caught the dad of a little boy who fell from this step trying to repair this structure. And the way back!! ! after the hot southern sun, crawl up the slippery slope or wet steps!! ! BRR!! ! The hotel's beach, as stated on the site, is equipped with umbrellas and sun loungers, which... are issued for a fee, although the cost of living includes the use of the beach. And if you, God forbid, accidentally swam behind the buoys, the guard on the beach will christen you with such words and in such a tone (using the loudspeaker) that you will no longer want to swim at all. On the last day of our vacation, when we settled on the beach on our own towels, we saw with horror that we ourselves and our things... in fuel oil, lumps of which floated in the water and stuck to the beach pebbles. I would like to express a separate “thank you” to the security guards who ensured our safety, who at every step demanded a guest card with such a look that it’s scary to imagine what would happen if it weren’t there, in the dining room, when receiving bags in front of the entrance (so that they didn’t take out food), vacationers ran into such rudeness and proposals to complain “at least to the President himself” that the appetite disappeared for a long time, there was a feeling that you were not in a place of rest, but in other not so remote places.
The most interesting thing was a visit to a "qualified" doctor in the 6th building, who, in response to my complaints from a vacationer... sent me to the neighboring Yasnaya Polyana sanatorium.

You also need to see the arch in the hotel pool, which appears as a symbol of "Marat" in all the pictures - the roof is peeling off, and it would not hurt to paint the columns of the "symbol".
Here is a part of the "impressions" about the long-awaited vacation in the park-hotel "Marat". I advise you to think VERY well before going to this place to "rest".
