We rested in the park-hotel "Marat" in September 2017. Behind the luminous sign "Park-Hotel. . . " the old name "Health resort" is hidden. The rooms of the 1st building have been renovated and there is a new villa "Chair" of a high price category. The center of the composition is a beautiful pool, which is placed on all advertising postcards and photographs.
We lived in building 2 - the old, ordinary building of the Soviet boarding house. Worn-out parquet, shabby doors, but in the toilet - plumbing and tiles on the floor have been changed and a beautiful view of Ai-Petri from the balcony. Our 2-bed room had a balcony, TV, small refrigerator and even air conditioning. But there was only one chair, so we sat on the beds. Lighting - two lamps: in the corridor and above one bed (instead of the second ceiling - air conditioning). There is an ironing board with an iron in the corridor, but they ran to the next floor for a kettle (a few days later they brought the kettle). Wi-fi in the lobby on the 1st floor of the building, but very "cunning" (Crome does not recognize it as a browser - you need Internet explorer).
We liked the location: near Yalta, Swallow's Nest. You can go to the royal palaces on excursions. We took one excursion from "Biblioglobus" and were very sorry: all excursions from them are from 3000 rubles. - Expensive and very mediocre organized. The second was taken in another company - twice cheaper and better.

Meals in the dining room are organized as a "buffet" and we liked it: varied and tasty. There are not many meat dishes, no fruit (a couple of times there were baked and chopped apples), but there are plenty of vegetable dishes and salads. We liked pastries (biscuits, rolls), cottage cheese casseroles and omelettes.
There is poor lighting on the territory (in the evening you stumble on the paths - only certain places are lit). The service staff is not trained, so do not expect attentive attitude and quality of service.
Please note: it takes 15-20 minutes to walk to the beach along the path up/down the stairs. There is a private cable car, but it works 3 times a day for three hours. The beach is pebbly (it is better to take slippers for swimming), but the sea is clean.
Our opinion: the "hotel" is overpaid and not worth the money. The price does not match the quality of services. Only the location wins (South Coast with beautiful nature and clear sea).
