I rested with my husband and a four-year-old child at the Marat Park Hotel this July.
PROS:
+ cool pool on site
+ good food, especially the "buffet" - eat holidays, breakfast is included in the price of the tour, the child was allowed free of charge in the dining room too
+ good, clean rooms, regularly cleaned, bedding changed 1-2 times a week. Take rooms on a higher floor (for example, from the 6th floor and above) - then the view from the balconies is amazing, the hum of vacationers by the pool and the cafe does not reach
+ it’s good that breakfast, a pool, a beach and a cable car to the beach are included in the price of the package (by the way, this is a very important point for parents with children)
MINUSES

- a free part of the beach for vacationers in "Marat" is littered with people (there are both Maratovs resting, and paid vacationers from the private sector of Gaspra), you have to migrate to the paid part of the beach (here sunbeds are included in the price) - subscription for 10 days 110 UAH. per person
- there are no playgrounds (there is one, but it is difficult to call it a playground for children). This is a big minus - children need swings, elementary slides, sandboxes (there is a pebble beach in Gaspra, there is nowhere for a child to dig), stairs, etc. Moreover, playgrounds are also a place for children and mothers to communicate
- For parents with children, I recommend taking rooms with balconies that do not overlook the pool. There is a cafe near the pool, where music plays until 10 pm
In general, we had a great rest : -)
