My husband and I lived in a room on the 10th floor in building 5. Price - 640 UAH. per day. They promised a room with air conditioning, which was important for us, but it turned out to be only for cooling, and these days it was cold, and even the north side. What is the use of paying extra for such an air conditioner?
The decor of the room is soviet, the wallpaper is ugly, peeling off everywhere, the windows are old, wooden - no soundproofing. All the nights I did not sleep because of the barking of dogs outside the window.
Bathroom - decent, good plumbing, clean, new, hot water from 6 am to 12 pm. This is a plus. But for 640 UAH. a day you expect a little more than just that.

Now the highlight of the program: the mechanisms of the elevators are located in such a way that in our room (1022), and in the neighboring ones, there is a constant knock and rattle!! ! It's impossible to sleep on it. They thought to sleep off during the day for sleepless nights, but from 7-45 the elevators make noise continuously. And until 12 at night. And sometimes later. As a result, we didn't sleep there AT ALL : ( Do not settle for the 10th floor and the rooms next to the elevator.
The territory is clean, well-groomed, beautiful. But the beach is very far away. Uncomfortable.
Meals: in "Marat" there are only 2 places where you can eat - a dining room and a restaurant "at the mother-in-law". There is also a "handelik" on the beach, but we did not dare to eat there. The food in the dining room is excellent, tasty, but VERY expensive. For those who stay less than 7 days, the cost of one meal in the canteen is 70 hryvnia. More than 7 days - 55 hryvnia for 1 meal. For comparison: in the sanatorium "Ai-Petri" last year, almost the same food in the commercial hall cost 60 hryvnia per day (4 times a day).
It is also inconvenient that the breakfast included in the price is from 8-00 to 8-30. We only got to it once. Why not make the spread more, like in normal hotels, for example, from 7 to 11?
"At the mother-in-law" - justifies its name. Not very tasty, cooked very slowly (dumplings waited 40 minutes) and very expensive. Each dish is an average of 30-40 hryvnia. That is, if you take a full meal of 3 courses, then there will be at least 100 hryvnia per person. And not the fact that you eat. Coffee - 25 UAH, if anyone is interested. There are no non-smoking areas. As a result, they smoke from all sides.
General impressions of "Marat": pleasant staff, cleanliness, beautiful well-groomed territory, but all this is crossed out by the uncomfortableness of the rooms and the lack of the opportunity to fully relax and eat. We left tired.
