I’ll start my story from the moment I arrive at the hotel, omitting the boring story about the ugly 39-hour painful road organized by the tour operator of the city of Yaroslavl by an old, old bus, during which everything that was possible and impossible was beaten ...
So, June 19.2012, 00 hours 50 minutes Ukrainian time. Around it is dark, silence, dim light of lanterns and a huge unfamiliar territory of the park-hotel "Marat". Not a single thing is visible, including the guide, who actually left us in a foreign country, fleeing immediately at the gates of the hotel, along with the bus and two drivers, not even leaving a phone number in case of an emergency. Where he was in such a hurry, the Lord God himself will not be able to answer now. And what should we Russians do?
Yes, there is no guide, but fortunately there is a nameless blond Angel nearby (the name of the guy-savior who was then resting in a hotel surrounded by four female relatives of different ages and walking at that very hour “Zyu” alone at a slightly later time, I I’ll never know, so be it, but I have his photo), who, obeying the instructions of the Night Watch employee on duty, without a word or reproach, led our group of 15 people across the entire vast territory to the edge of the Marat Universe ", to settle down. Since I was the last to lug my suitcase, it was not difficult for me, as a similar night watchman, to say “thank you” to the Angel and, after receiving the “please” feedback, exhale and continue climbing up the steps of the Building 5 building to new heights.

This desire of mine did not take long to be fulfilled. The top of Ai-Petri appeared immediately, in the morning, by itself.
Without crawling out of bed, I moved the curtain at the window of the room and, seeing a horned mountain bathed in the sun, I was amazed at the beauty of the Crimean landscape. Regarding the complaints of some vacationers about the quality and interior design of the rooms, I will say that I had nothing to complain about, I am a flexible and patient person. There was everything you needed (beds, bedside tables, a table, a wardrobe with hangers, a refrigerator and a TV, ropes on the balcony, a bathroom and a toilet bowl, shampoos, shower gels, cups and plates, a basin for laundry - in the room, as well as an ironing board, iron, chair and two elevators - on the floor). However, the hair dryer was not enough, very much. Therefore, citizens who are naturally sick need to stock up on this thing on their own, otherwise you will simply be guaranteed a cold and runny nose on the very first day of rest. By the way, I was not at all upset with the supply of water from 6 am to 11 pm, from 23.00 to 06.00 I just sleep very soundly.
The rooms were cleaned daily, which was a little pampered. I am not going to argue with the statements of the same dissatisfied citizens that the kitchen was monotonous, since I liked everything. Moreover, the variety was not in different dishes served every day, but in constantly and always present in a large number "here and now" dishes (buckwheat, pasta, potatoes, rice, scrambled eggs, stewed zucchini-eggplants, cauliflower in an egg , sausages, sausages, fried chicken, fried and boiled eggs, cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, olives, cheese, meat, bacon, yogurt and fruits). So complaining is a sin. The beach is your own, pebbly (stock up on swimming slippers), the outdoor pool is gorgeous with a view of the mountains, there is a bar with music nearby (I love Queen songs and hip-hop). The problem with the lack of sunbeds was solved by the brave Ukrainian lads within a day. What else can you dream of?
The weather is excellent throughout the stay, the pool has a gazebo and a slide, and the opportunity to do aqua aerobics and water polo, the beach has its own cable car. It's fun to just ride! The main thing is not to confuse with which foot to start and go to the finish line ...The animation is amazing, even yoga is practiced there systematically, however, the place was not chosen very well. The hotel is located in the village of Gaspra, next to the market, and a mini-market, and shops (grocery and manufactured goods), and pharmacies, and cafes, and wine shops, there is even a pizzeria. Near the hotel there are several exchange offices, as well as a bus stop. For only 4-8 hryvnias you will be taken to Yalta and Alupka. The excursion objects are just a stone's throw away, you can go on your own, for example, to the Swallow's Nest and the Vorontsov Palace. You can book excursions in the hotel itself, the guides are wonderful.

My friend and I managed to go to the Livadia Palace, Oreanda, swim on a boat, walk around Yalta at night, visit the theater of marine animals. In general, I liked everything! Managed to burn and tan. By the way, it was not in vain that the royal family liked to spend autumn in the Crimea, the sun here is really very hot in summer, be careful!
And again about the Angels. There were even two of them. The first, as previously mentioned, was a young boy who arose on the very first night upon arrival on June 19.2012 from the void with the responsible task of “meeting our group”. In the same way, he appeared on the day of departure, June 26.2012, being present nearby from morning to evening. Probably, the Heavenly Office also gave him the instruction to "escort us. " When I saw him at breakfast in the morning, for some reason I suddenly thought: “I wonder what the Angels eat? ". You will laugh when you find out what he was wearing.
In blue shorts and a blue T-shirt with wings on the back. I'm not lying. Leaving the cafeteria, I said quietly: “Now I know what the Angels eat. Buns… (they give them every day in the hotel! )” And when I looked back, I was frightened when I saw that he was following us, along with his family. Probably heard my reasoning ...what an embarrassment. By the way, a compliment to you, Angel: “You dive great! And… THANK YOU, although I don’t know your name, you are a very kind guy.
Angel number two was an affectionate, sweet miracle - the creation of the animal world called "cat". As you understand, she also did not introduce herself to me, remaining "incognito". There are a lot of cats on the territory of the hotel, you will see them everywhere. They are happy with everything and will not ask you for anything, rest assured. Each cat is equipped with an exquisite accessory - a flea collar, which will also please you and your children very much.

In conclusion of my story, I want to say thank you to all the staff of the Marat Park-Hotel, including the director, who surrounded us, vacationers, with care. They fed, watered, cleaned up after us, treated us, did Thai massage, entertained us, accommodated us and just helped us in any way they could. THANK YOU SO MUCH for making our stay so comfortable! If suddenly there is a desire to visit the Crimea again, and it will arise very soon, I will choose Marat again with its shady alleys. With love to all, Natalia from Yaroslavl.
