Good evening everyone! We have just returned from Marat, and after seeing so many negative reviews, I decided to write my opinion about the hotel. We liked absolutely everything! We lived in building nine (the most modest in terms of money and conditions), on the third floor. Yes, the furniture is from Soviet times, and there is no handle on the locker, but for us these are trifles. The room was cleaned every day, the toilet (common to the floor - CLEAN, DOES NOT SMELL), but it very much depends on the vacationers themselves - on the second floor I saw dirt and disgusting from the residents. In the room we had a spacious balcony with old chairs and a table. On it we ate dinner and rested in the evenings. Right in front of us are the green branches of the trees. Clean, quiet. I was very afraid to go to this building in rooms with partial amenities, but it so happened this year that there was only enough money for this option. And I sincerely rejoiced, realizing that my fears were not confirmed.
Of course, our room and building cannot be compared with the sixth one, but we visited there and did not see any cockroaches or peeled wallpaper. About the staff. I personally wrote a letter of thanks to the director of the hotel for the work of his employees. For 12 days, I have never seen or heard rudeness or inattention from the staff, the cleaners worked like bees, the receptionists and administrators are polite and come to the rescue, if necessary, in the dining room the waitress girls are quick and attentive, a couple of times I could not find forks, appealed - immediately carried out. And also tactful, polite, unobtrusive (I watched their work at the Aqua Party) Now about the food. I have heard many criticize breakfasts, but I have never seen people sit with empty plates and drink only coffee or tea, or even vice versa. At all (almost) the plates were filled with a "slide".
The assortment has been listed here more than once, I will only add that the food is fresh, clean, everyone can choose to their taste - someone milk, someone meat. And I never stood in line for 15 minutes, 2-3 at most, and then because politeness did not allow me to climb forward. About the beach and cable car. Wonderful uncles work on the cable car, who help to get on and off, cheer up cowards like me. The beach is clean, the pebbles are pleasant, the entrance to the water on the left side is much better. The sea is the cleanest. We didn’t see a crowded beach, because we came to the sea before breakfast, and swam almost alone. If I can post a photo, I'll be sure to post it. Sun beds - choose any. Probably, if there are a lot of people coming after nine, but we went to the pool, I read under a canopy and solved crossword puzzles, the child swam and talked with the animators. About rescuers.

I witnessed how the lifeguard jumped into the water, along with a mobile phone in his hand and in his clothes, to save a 4-year-old who had turned over from the circle, whose father was swimming at the other end of the pool, and his mother was sunbathing on the shore. The lifeguard left to change clothes, and the child...the child's parents again put him in the circle and let him into the pool. And the word "Thank you", by the way, I also did not hear. Now animation. For any age and time. Adult uncles recklessly play water polo, children - darts and pioneer ball barefoot on the sand, show cartoons and films every day, the hall is huge, but the smell of old age is felt. Mine went to see cartoons a couple of times while I went to buy tickets. Were at the Aqua Party. Delicious roast, live music, performance of synchronized swimmers in the illuminated pool, fireworks, competitions - the evening was definitely a success. We went on excursions a lot. Yes, minibuses are rarely half empty, but we were lucky, we only stopped once before Yalta.
Of the minuses and significant ones, I want to note the road to Marat, it is so scary to cross it, and there are no sidewalks ...I held my nine-year-old by the hand.
Bottom line: we had a great rest for 12 days, swam with dolphins in the Water Area, took a boat ride to Yalta, went to the Zoo and Aquapark in Simeiz, to the Livadia Palace and walked along the Sunny Path, twice went to the Valley of Ghosts on Demerdzhi to ride horses and the sea , certainly! Together with the road, accommodation, meals and excursions, we spent 42 thousand rubles for two, of which 11 thousand were spent on train tickets. Thanks to everyone who helped us have a good time! Elena Kulebakina, St. Petersburg. You can find me in contact, there all the photos are already posted.
