This year we decided to divide 14 days of rest in half and relax in different places (mother, father, child of 6 years old).
We chose "Kazantip-Center" in Novootradny (we spent the first week there) and "Park-Hotel Marat" in Gaspra.
About Gaspra
We spent three years resting in the steppes of the Crimea, and now we decided to have a rest on the South Coast, as a result we were left with a double impression.
The mountains and vegetation are of course impressive, but everything is incredibly built up, and a house is standing or being built on every heel (I think a little more and there will be nothing left of beauty)
Crowds of people were very annoying, especially after the huge, quiet, and most importantly half-empty Kazantip Bay.

We wanted to see the sights of the South Coast, but after visiting the "Swallow's Nest", we were disappointed (a long and exhausting road to a sad crumbling monument) and did not go anywhere else (except for the zoo, by the way, it is interesting, but also pretty shabby).
Very stuffy and humid.
The prices are the same as in Moscow.
About "Marat"
lived in building number 5, a standard room with a view of the mountains and... a huge number of other small and large boarding houses, one of which was practically under our balconies (when they listened to chanson at high volume, they were constantly tempted to throw something at them or, and it would have hit).
Pros:
- swimming pool: new, clean, with a slide and hydromassage (but with gloomy lifeguards who gladly did not include all this at all)
- The area is large and green.
- good cleaning of rooms and change of linen and towels.
- view from the window (if you look up)
- bathroom, well renovated and always hot water with excellent pressure.
Minuses:
- the beach is small compared to the number of vacationers in Marat. There are not enough sun loungers. If algae come up, no one cleans them up.
- the cable car operates according to a strange schedule, it is not located on the territory and in order to get there you have to cross a rather busy road.
- food (it's good that we only paid for breakfast) is monotonous, it's cold in one room (the air conditioner freezes), and stuffy in the other (there is no air conditioner). There is always a queue for tea and coffee.
- the rooms are sad ((slightly renovated and with old buzzing air conditioners (turned off at night because it was impossible to sleep).
- children's animation... it simply does not exist (although there are many children)! Taking the TV outside at 20.00 and watching cartoons (and there were only three of them, and they alternated day by day) - this is NOT ANIMATION.
Conclusion: we won't go anymore. for that kind of money, even in the Crimea, you can find a better place.
