I'll start with the good - this is the nature of the Crimea (my wife and I were there for the first time), and so it is divinely good. Mountains immersed in greenery rise around, a beautiful sea, clean air, in general, I have no complaints about Crimea, as a resort - beauty! With the right approach, there are simply colossal prospects for the tourism business, maybe there is a "right approach" somewhere, but I'll tell you about the wrong one.
So ladies and gentlemen - "Marat", the slogan of this place should be "do you want to get into the past? then come to us! ". My impressions are fresh and the review will not be small, so to speak there will be "a lot of bukaf", because I am one of those people who are trying to warn others not to repeat my mistakes.
Here we were happy from the beauties we saw, they brought us to the entrance to Marat. The entrance to the marat is a checkpoint by the road, taxis are not allowed for it, and 300 meters to the reception building (No. 6) along a very bad road, bad for your suitcases with wheels, they will constantly wag, fall and just not go. This is not a problem for me, I took the suitcases in my hands, my wife (pregnant) - a couple of light packages, and we still happily overcame 300 meters without noticing. But there are old people, women without men, so I think they got a lot of "positive" emotions climbing down the slope with enraged suitcases. At the reception of building 6 we were not badly greeted, offered a choice of cold juice, and in general were quite friendly. We checked into Chair (this is a villa on the territory of a marat, which you can’t even call a building, but the price tag is soooooo. . . ), at the reception they explained to us that we are happy owners of buffet breakfasts and lunches, and if we want to have dinner , then you have to pay 100 hryvnia per person for each day (the whole amount in advance), this is more than 800 rubles a day, here for the first time doubts crept in for me - what will they serve there for that kind of money ? , and I dissuaded my spouse from paying for dinner right away suggesting to have a look at lunch first. We were also given white bracelets and guest cards, strictly ordered to carry them everywhere with us, for which we left a deposit of 200 hryvnias. Then we proceeded to the Villa Chair (it is 20 meters from the 6th building), and received the keys to our room.

To the villa itself, to the room, to the service - no complaints, everything is at the level, therefore I will not get hung up on this, since we did not come to live in a suite, we came to the park hotel resort to resort and relax.
The inhabitants of Chair are such white-collar workers, only instead of collars there are bracelets, there are also blue and orange ones - apparently infringed on their rights by the local administration, I explain this so that you understand how much worse it was for those who did not wear VIP bracelets. In short, the color differentiation of society reigns in Marat.
The beach is divided into VIP and just a beach, after Egypt - a very small piece of territory, limited on all sides, filled with pebbles, plastic sunbeds are very uncomfortable, there are always enough of them on the VIP beach, always not enough for the rest. There are also structures on the beach for some reason called a bungalow, apparently no one from the administration has seen a real bungalow...
The cable car is a miracle of scientific thought, it’s a pity that it’s a very old scientific thought, it works on schedule, I didn’t have time, sorry - on foot. The descent on foot is faster than on the cable car, but the ascent is a serious test.
Buffet.
It is something indescribable. Not only is the food not tasty, but even tasteless food is not enough for unfortunate vacationers, vegetables are always yesterday at best (I still don’t understand where they spend the first fresh day of their lives), and the next day the vegetables turn into salads, which again cannot be eaten. In general, almost all food in Marat has the property of reincarnation, for example:
1 day I had the stupidity to try carrots (like in Korean), almost no one ate it.
Day 2 I observe carrot cutlets.
1 day mashed tomatoes.
Day 2 salad of tomato and onion (looks like it was already eaten, but spit out).
1 day overcooked potatoes.
Day 2 yes-yes potato cutlets.
1 day cabbage after grater (probably lettuce)
2 day stewed cabbage (it was impossible not to recognize - the same fine grater, so cabbage is not stewed)

Oh yes, the top of culinary notions was Olivier salad sprinkled with cheese (cheese was given every morning, but it was almost never eaten because of its unusual taste, which is not for every gourmet). This holiday of gluttony did not last long, as people stopped going to such breakfast-lunches, and the administration suddenly introduced a la carte meals, narrowing down the already narrow choice. In order not to list everything that was bad, I will list what was good:
1 Adjika (I ate almost everything with her, she really improved the taste)
2 Borscht (the wife really noticed an exorbitant amount of vegetable oil floating on top with a show "I'm fat", but it was delicious)
3 Fried eggs (due to the fact that it is very difficult to spoil this dish)
All!!!
A separate word deserves wine that could be "enjoyed" at dinner. There were TWO bottles of wine on a special table, from which people could pour themselves this rare Chilean nectar (white still looks like cheap wine in bags, red is unlike anything I have tried before).
You represent! In the Crimean hotel which is located 30 km. from Massandra served Chilean mumbling, it was the height of bullying. People tasted great wines every day, I personally understood what a real port wine is (before, the associative series for the word "port wine" was short for me - 777), and it was a waste of time to compare the quality.
Animation.
It's like it's there, but it's like it's not there. Paradoxical, isn't it? I personally don't care about animation, but I've seen animation in other countries and I know what I'm talking about. The animators themselves - young guys who came to work and relax, they tried, but it was clear that this was hard work. They had a friend there with a microphone, probably a leader called to light, well, this is a separate frame. Every day he repeated the same jokes, in the voice of a terminally ill person, he began to strain already on the second day, and I don’t like to strain on vacation.
Infrastructure.
The so-called park hotel can be bypassed with a calm walking pace in 20-30 minutes, do not believe in a huge territory, it is not there, a huge park in Miskhor, so you can walk there for free.
There are a lot of cafes and shops around, but this is not the merit of Marat, by the way, we had dinner at different establishments, we didn’t save on orders, we ate what we liked and the order amount came out from 120 to 200 hryvnias.

Already on the 3rd day, it became clear that it was necessary to relax here not in hotels, but either by renting housing, or by savages in general, it would be ten times cheaper, and the main Crimean advantages would come for nothing.
In conclusion, I will say the following: maybe Marat is not the worst place in Crimea, but definitely the worst of those places where I have been!
Don't repeat the same mistakes people! If anyone has any questions I will answer.
