"Sail" Gaspra began in July.
Tour operator "Laspi" - no complaints. The Kyiv office - the girls are a little slow, but after a letter to the Crimean office (special thanks to them), they "woke up" and everything went fine. We risked early booking and got a discount.
Sanatorium "Paru" consists of 2 buildings. The 1st is considered more prestigious: the elevator is newer, the rooms are more in the “Stalinist” style, closer to the dining room, procedures and the beach (50 meters). But I like the 2nd much more. Each room has a great view of the sea and the Swallow's Nest or the sea and Ai-Petri, the higher the floor, the better the view.
The rooms are small but have everything you need. Suite - good: 2nd room (with a cupboard, a kettle and crockery for three) a long balcony with two exits, you can walk in a circle. Upon arrival, soap was found in the bathroom, 2 gels and shampoo each. Room cleaning took place in the morning when we were on the beach (although they forgot to clean it once).

The buildings have 2 elevators. There is always a porter on duty at the reception. Next to the duty nurse.
The territory of the sanatorium is fenced and guarded (fenced well, guarded - liberally). Somewhere there is video surveillance. The territory is not very large, you can walk around at a leisurely pace in about 20 minutes, if you don’t stop, it’s worth stopping beautiful observation platforms, the aromas of southern trees (there are about 200 species of them - a kind of mini botanical garden with its own agronomist). Well, you can’t do without a fly in the ointment: even though the garbage cans stand near each bench and are regularly cleaned up, bulls are lying around; the company of "bulls" after tasting beer from plastic bottles shat in cypresses; a plump aunt - ate a bush of something-there-Crimean-useful, spitting around... Crimea has nothing to do with it, redneck soviet citizens stick out from vacationers, reinforced by the absence of any education, the presence of any money and the green shoots of Slavic democracy. Sorry, got a little carried away. I grumble like an old man. At least 500 normal ones - 1 comes across, but you can see it from afar.
So. On the territory there is a dining-club for 300-400 seats (seats at the table are fixed for the entire rest time), with a cinema (once a week some show for children and fans of TV shows), with a billiard room for 2 Russian tables (permanently closed and littered with all sorts of rubbish), with a consumer goods store (caps, swimming trunks, masks, etc. ) and with a room for "divorcing suckers" (in the former bar) where 4 times a week they give "wool belts" and sell " a fabulous vacation” abroad (and they are being conducted). In the lobby during the day there are always a couple of stalls with native goods (Crimean teas, wood crafts, oils, pearls, excursions).
They are fed in the dining room according to the schedule 3 times a day, custom menu - you can choose from three different dishes, for example: Siberian borscht / pea soup / chicken broth, fricassee / roast beef / escalope (the names sound promising, but the taste is not very ). Who remembers the Soviet public catering - the taste is preserved to perfection. Fruits are served for lunch (local). There are often fish dishes. If you eat everything, you won't go hungry. From what I liked - first courses, buns, kefir for dinner (Crimean in plastic cups, like our “President” sour cream, for example, probably for Russian guests spoiled with good dairy products, there is no such quality in Kyiv, I would like to know why). During the "settlement" in the dining room next to the dietitian, a boy (probably the head of production) with his business was found at the table - fresh juices from 15 to 50 hryvnias. I think that every newcomer once tried the product of this business. I do not advise. VIP service in the dining room differs only in a separate room with air conditioning and a bottle of water - food from one boiler. Well, oh, very big VIPs drove their jeeps to eat in nearby restaurants (it's not clear, though, why - Crimea, maybe nostalgia or very patriotic? ). Summing up, I’ll say: the canteen workers are trying - it’s clear, but they don’t know how otherwise. Or maybe they don’t want to - once you’ve arrived, you’ll get away with it.

The beach can only be accessed by lift. A security guard sits at the elevator and, theoretically, outsiders (renting apartments in 2 nearby houses) let in only with entrance tickets - 35 givens a day (they say at the beginning of the season it was 50 hryvnias - outsiders did not go at all). Elevator: shaft 76 meters and approx. A 90-meter tunnel through this original structure from the mountain from the park calmly and quickly goes straight to the sea.
The beach is beautiful, clean, not very big but there is enough space. On the terrace, under a canopy, there are two rows of classic Crimean sunbeds. By the sea - on towels. There is a rental of sun umbrellas and plastic sunbeds - in the treatment room, in the same place: Crimean tea, foam, all kinds of showers, a gym, ping-pong. There is a sauna. Rental of beach umbrellas - 20 UAH per day. About all this beach service och. in detail, many times a day, the “loud” tape voice of the girl Yulia tells in detail, a good masseuse and “charcot shower operator” rolled into one. This shower is worth a special mention: aunts in bodies, in splashes from a jet of water from a hose for washing boats - a killer sight.
Separately, I want to speak about the mare who sells excursions in the lobby of the dining room. A typical example of the Crimean attitude to work - and so it will do. And in itself, she is not a tourism worker, but at best a dishwasher. Two canceled excursions out of two. 100% - result. And in the first case, I thought of calling back, two hours before the start of the tour (there weren’t enough tourists - Marble Cave). And in the second, she completely forgot about us (durra) and we, “at the parade”, walked at the checkpoint for 40 minutes, waiting for the transfer (tasting in Massandra), which never appeared.
As a result, we organized all the excursions ourselves. The cost of a round-trip taxi (will wait for your return with pleasure) from the sanatorium is usually equal to the cost of an excursion for 4 people, it is more comfortable and freer, but about information richness, read and-no or signs on the object of visit. Not to mention the fact that it takes 15 minutes to the mooring of the boats from the "Sail" down the stairs.
Have a nice holiday everyone.
