We rested with my family (father-mother-son (5 years old)) for a week in Yasnaya Polyana. We bought a ticket without treatment - only food and accommodation. The overall impression is somewhere around 50%/50%. I'll start with the attitude of staff and administration - all 5+. Any adequate request or question was immediately resolved (well done!!! ). Moreover, as is usually the case at a resort, no one extorts money - everything is done in a human way, for which many thanks to everyone - this is a very rare quality in our time. The rooms were on a solid four - refrigerator, TV - we chose not the most expensive - this is important!! ! - so that they don’t think that everyone is like that (the usual such a room, like in an ordinary hotel in any average city), only the bathroom was terrible. A little strained the schedule of the mountains. water - in the morning about 40 minutes and in the evening 1 hour. At the end of the evening supply of hot water was not enough - it started to run cold, because it was served from a huge barrel, which was heated from morning to evening. By the way, a note-wish - our windows overlooked the mountains (they asked for it themselves) and the sound of a running engine to supply water to the barrel sometimes strained until 12:00 at night. This is, to put it mildly, not great. So take it away from the center of the building - the barrel is right in the middle.
The park around is beautiful, you can’t breathe the air, but it’s a pity that it’s abandoned and there is a lot of garbage - no one probably cleans up the bushes. But we saw a squirrel.
On nutrition: portions for adults are small. It was also not clear - how during the season for vegetables, per day, if you collect all the sliced u200bu200bpieces in the morning, lunch and dinner, then the maximum was only 1 small tomato and cucumber. Also, the constant presence of rice or pasta was very annoying - well, after all, in our country there were interruptions only with buckwheat? After all, it was possible to diversify a little with other cereals (the same pearl barley, wheat, millet). And so, if not for breakfast, then for lunch or dinner, in any case, there was either rice or pasta. The meat was served regularly, but in such melancholy sizes that it was lost in the gravy. Yes, and the first courses cannot be called rich - soup with meatballs - one sediment from minced meat . . etc. Well, for sea fish - there is applause - and it is well cooked and the pieces are normal.

It was also incomprehensible with fruits - they gave peaches a couple of times - they were so unripe and small that they crunched on the teeth like apples. Why, one wonders, to buy and serve this on the table - after all, children also love to eat them - but how to give this to a child? After all, right next to the cable car just below the school there is a "collective farm" market that brings fruit from Bakhchisarai - there are peaches for 13-15 UAH and ripe, even small ones. Our family is generally undemanding to food - but sometimes the dishes were prepared quite tastelessly somehow.
We were well aware that we did not come to 5 stars, but still expected a little more.....
We go further - the cable car worked on schedule, travel is free for vacationers, the beach is also b / n (by the way, clean, well-groomed and wide). The pebbles are small, the exit to the sea is normal, the water is just a fairy tale! Who did not have time or, on the contrary, went to the beach earlier than the cable car starts - you can walk 10 minutes to the beach through a small market.
And now I’ll move on to the saddest thing - 2 days after our arrival, we all got sick, at first we thought that, as usual, due to climate change, but then we realized with horror that LITERALLY THE WHOLE SANATORIUM WALKED AND COUGHED AND SNEEZE. Small children (from 2-3 years old) - so they generally choked from coughing. I won’t draw conclusions - I’m not a doctor by profession, only assumptions: either due to the fact that the dishes are common to the entire hall - and may not have been washed and disinfected well, or because of the common dining hall, which (by the way, like a bathhouse) is connected to catering unit, and in which only in the morning you can still go dry, but hoods, as such, are probably not provided. Either some kind of virus "walked", or maybe it was just a big coincidence, but the feeling of joy from the vacation was a little blurred. So we spent most of our short vacation, excuse me "with snot" and without much mood.
I ask all readers not to take it literally and not be offended if it is the staff of the sanatorium - this is just my subjective opinion. Let the wishes and comments be taken into account and other vacationers will improve their vacation.
