Teamed up with relatives who were traveling on a trade union voucher from Customs. In principle, the sanatorium itself is quite decent, if you do not leave its vast territory. Excellent coniferous vegetation - no mosquitoes because of it. I slept on the balcony on a folding bed and there was none. And the air is just great. If you want to leave - go to the one next to the Tax Office, see where your taxes have gone; ).

Food. This year introduced a buffet - the choice is not so super-duper, but much better than before with orders. We all really liked it, both adults and children always had something to look forward to. Friendly waitresses, clean hall, constantly offering new portions.
There is a restaurant on site that lacks a dining area. Prices are not low, but something simple can be eaten for little money.
They also sell vegetables, fruits, water, but all this is about 10 UAH more expensive. than in the Yalta supermarket.

There was animation on the beach - fitness for adults and children.
2 times a week a disco for children, all Russian and pop, but there is. All other days - a disco for adults on the terrace of the cafe. Also, unfortunately, without a hint of something Ukrainian. On Independence Day we were shown some numbers that we just walked and never went there again. But you have a choice. There is a children's playground on site.

For vacationers here - free access to the Swallow's Nest.

The beach as often in the Crimea - pebbles. I was fine. And elderly couples wore special rubber shoes so that their feet would not sting. The water is clean from the outside, the eyes do not eat, just wearing a mask and diving, I saw that in fact it is quite muddy. But in the Gulf another year to look. To feel the clear sea, you need to take a boat and go far. In general, it was normal, the children hung out all day, everyone was happy.

One important caveat. No fencing on the beach.
If your child runs on the third terrace, it is quite possible to fall from a height of 10 meters on the rocks of the beach. Because it is not fenced by anything. It's like a balcony without railings. Also on other terraces for beds and berths, concrete walls do not end with anything, one step - and you're in the sea. Is it so difficult to put up an ordinary fence? I think that until someone fails, they will not supply anything. We did this: 3-year-old children were escorted to the lower terrace or to the beach and we made sure that they did not climb the mountain without adults.

It will be great to drive to the embankment of Yalta on the last day (so as not to spend all the money at once; ) - there are great attractions, lots of fun, both physical and mental.

The Crimea itself is traditionally tense: bad roads, lack of direct access from Simferopol without a change in Yalta, mud, etc. How money is earned, but little seems to be invested in infrastructure rehabilitation.

The worst memory: blocking roads for the sake of the president. He congratulated the Olympic team at the Livadia Palace. All transport is blocked, and do what you want, no one is interested in your problems. And to be late for the train is quite real. I was lucky - I was alone, without my wife and children, cross-country a few kilometers in the rain to Yalta. There are traffic jams, upside down again to the bus station, no one wants to stop and take a wet man to the salon for any money. Finally, a military man stopped in the old town and drove to the bus station, and there the Tatars, well done, organized alternative minibuses that go between the two only 1.5 hours.
