Indeed, the Ayu-Dag building is located right on the seashore at the foot of the Ayu-Dag itself, and you can walk along the beautiful territory of Artek. This is where the good ends. The rooms of the building (one-room - about 800 hryvnia per night! ) have not been updated, probably since the 70s of the last century. THE ROOM IS BED!!!!!!!!
For the first time in my life I faced this horror. The room had a musty smell, black rot in the bathroom, terrible looking mattresses and pillows. At first I thought that mosquitoes were biting me, but the "path" bites appeared every night, even when the balcony and windows were not opened at all. In the end, I found dried larvae of a characteristic look in mattresses, and on the wallpaper next to my headboard - characteristic holes (bugs often live under the wallpaper). She made a scandal, and my 3-year-old son and I (yes, I was with a child! ) We were transferred to the Skalny guest building, where, in any case, repairs were made, and new beds. I didn’t go to the sanitary and epidemiological station only because it is in Yalta, and you don’t run into a lot with a small one. But that is not all. Two weeks later, upon arrival home, Dirofilaria was removed from under the skin of the PARASITE. Doctors said that this muck is now increasingly being brought from the Crimea, and its larvae are carried by insect bites from infected dogs (three dogs lived in the Ayu-Daga lobby with the administrator). I thank God that my child was not hurt. I WILL REMEMBER THIS HORROR FOR A LONG TIME.
