We rested with our family in Gurzuf for the 1st time: me, my husband, and two children (15 years old and 2 years old). Everything was wonderful! We lived in a room on the 1st floor, so as not to walk up the stairs with the child and so that the sons had the entire courtyard of the hotel at their disposal for walking. The room is very comfortable, it has everything for a good rest with the family (refrigerator, electric kettle, air conditioning, bathroom, shower, wardrobe with shelves, hangers and a mirror, beds, table, chairs, etc. ). All furniture, curtains - new, repair - fresh. The air conditioning was almost never used, as it was almost always cool in the room and in the yard in the shade of the trees. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner in the fresh air, saturated with the smell of pine needles. The courtyard of the hotel is immersed in greenery, so we practically did not stay in the room. There is also a spacious kitchen for self-catering. I often cooked myself, so I can say for sure that the kitchen is equipped with all necessary appliances and utensils. Special thanks to the hotel staff! I was struck by their responsiveness, courtesy and participation in resolving any issues that arise. The number of towels, blankets, pillows, etc. did not depend on the number of seats in the room, but on our needs. If you ordered food from the hotel chef, then you could choose the time for which the food would be prepared and the place where the table would be laid (there were many to choose from and everything was in the fresh air). The owner of the hotel Anatoly Ivanovich is a golden man! He gave us his place to park our car, and he parked his car at the gate of the hotel. So when we accidentally parked, we hit his car and scratched the rear fender (a rather deep scratch), offered him money as compensation - so he didn’t take it, but was more worried about our car (the rear door was concave, by the way, we had already refurbished it : ) )! And in general - he is so emotional, he was always worried about the quality of rest of all the guests, about the serviceability of equipment, etc. The estimated time at the hotel is 12.00, but we checked in at 8.30, since at that time the room was not occupied, an additional fee for early check-in from we were not taken. We also left later, at 20.30 (so that the child would sleep on the way), as new guests were settled in the room - we released him by 12.00, but the owner provided us with another room for free until the evening, where we could rest before the road, wash, etc.
Now about the location of the hotel - we went around almost the entire Gurzuf, but we did not see a better place to live. The road to the embankment passed along the most beautiful alleys (along the way - a market, shops, pharmacies, etc. ) and took 10 minutes (with a child of 2 years old), then we walked along the promenade to our favorite beach for another 5 minutes (although we could stop on the first beach). The descent and ascent is not very steep, and on the 3rd day we did not notice the ascents. There are many city free beaches in Gurzuf, but we chose the beach with the entrance through the "Safe" cafe - there are the least people there and there is an equipped sandbox for children with a bunch of toys and a sun umbrella - all this is free!
Our vacation was unforgettable! Partly due to the beauty and climate of Gurzuf (the sea was warm, but a pleasant breeze always blew from the sea or from the mountains, so there was no sweltering heat). But to a greater extent, nothing overshadowed our vacation thanks to staying at the Lanterns of Gurzuf hotel! We recommend to everyone and we will come here again and again!
