I rested with my family in a private boarding house "Sea Breeze" in the village of Gurzuf from August 5 to 18.
I found the boarding house myself, focusing on reviews on the Internet. Chose by the ratio "price-quality".
So in order.
I ordered a room in the new building (standard B, ) with extra. place (child 11 years old), the price includes the use of the beach and breakfast (buffet) and transfer: from the railway station Simferopol to Gurzuf (round-trip).

Communicated with Eugene (manager of a network of private hotels Inter TOUR, located in Simferopol) by phone numbers listed on the official website of Sea Breeze. To book a room, I made an advance payment of 20% of the cost. Advance payment made by Western Union. True, at first it was tense that it was necessary to transfer money to an individual (Eugene), but it turned out that the boarding house did not have the opportunity to receive money from Belarus by bank transfer directly to its account. By the way, there are no such problems with Russia. In Simferopol, we were met by the driver near our car (Sergey), took our things and carried us to the car. All cultural, polite.
Sea Breeze kept the brand (Zhenya - respect! ). We arrived at the boarding house. Room - new, 2nd floor, European classification (combined shower / toilet, balcony with furniture, air conditioning, TV, refrigerator, cleaned every day, linen changed 1 time in three days) - somewhere 3 *.
Settled quickly, waited only 30 minutes. Thanks to the manager of the boarding house - Ruslan. The park is small but great, lighting in the evening, Arbor if you want to eat outside, a fireplace for barbecues, 2 small ponds with fish, even your own 2 squirrels. My daughter was delighted.
To the sea and the beach somewhere 100-120 meters. The beach is rented from the Gurzufsky sanatorium every year. The beach is closed, there were practically no strangers, we went through the resort books issued in the boarding house. Free use of sun loungers - 2 per room.
In many reviews I read that next to the boarding house there is a disco - Koktel - Hall. It was written that you can only sleep with the windows closed. In others, even with the windows closed, the boarding house is shaking. So next to the Sea Breeze there is also the Banzai entertainment center, but because of our daughter we didn’t turn on the air conditioner at night and had to sleep with the door to the balcony open, well, we slept absolutely fine, nothing really bothered us, of course there was noise, but no more than the noise outside the window in the city.
The first minus, but not of the boarding house, but of the whole Gurzuf, is new pebbles (aka rubble). Crimea is developing tourism, and Gurzuf has always had narrow beaches. Therefore, before the season, they drove barges from the sea and increased the beaches (poured rubble) 2 times. At the same time, remove the old pebbles and pour new rubble on top, apparently there was not enough money. On the one hand, they seem to have done a good deed, on the other hand, you won’t enter the sea without slates. Personally, I swam in them.

Now food. One of the criteria for choosing a boarding house was that breakfast (buffet) was included in the ticket. I have a hearty breakfast, a normal lunch and very little for dinner. Therefore, to be honest, I didn’t have enough food for breakfast. It was enough for my wife and daughter, but not for me. And - Zhenya, IF BREAKFAST IS A BUFFET, THEN IT SHOULD BE A BUFFET! , and not a la carte (the portion is small - I repeat for me was not enough) plus a piece of sausage and cheese per person and a muffin, with buffet elements (coffee, tea , two types of milk porridges and EGGS!!! ! (IN A COOL AND SCRIED EGG). Only the waitress Olya jumped out at the pleasure.
JENNYA PLEASE DON'T BE OFFENDED!!! ! I write only for the benefit of the cause. And judging by the old reviews, you had a decent buffet. Guys! The resort has huge potential! Change the situation with food and everything will be fine!
IN GENERAL I WILL SAY THIS - PRINCIPALIO - I LIKE IT, I GOT PRACTICALLY EVERYTHING I COUNTED FOR !! ! If you are not offended by criticism, I would like to come next year. GOOD LUCK!! !
