We were "lucky" to experience all the delights of a holiday at the villa "Elena" in the village of Livadia. I still don’t understand how my husband and I managed to get into this scam. I'll start in order. The owners of the villa are "hospitable people" - a writer and an academician. Immediately struck by the garden, marble and columns, a large swimming pool, vernissages everywhere. But we had no idea what awaited us. The hostess showed almost all the rooms. They are very spacious, the toilets have an attribute of luxury - a bidet. I'm nearsighted, so I didn't notice dirty windows, dust, lack of refrigerator, TV and chairs in the room. It couldn't come to my mind. that for 125-150 dollars a day the rooms do not have the most basic. After 6 hours of searching, you yourself know that in Crimea the prices are ah, and the service is zhah, our perception played a cruel joke on us. My intuition asked me why the villa was empty in the high season in July, and my mind answered that it was because of the high cost. The owner called us 4 times and made a discount. Gave us a room on the 3rd floor for $100. We thought that the child would be spacious, huge halls, balconies, rotundas and a swing. Husband paid for 12 nights at once. And so we settled. And here our suffering began. When I entered the room, went to the bed, I saw huge stains on the bedding. She sat down, and later lay down on the bed and found a cheap spring mattress. I opened the window and was unpleasantly surprised by a thick layer of dirt on the windows, it was disgusting to even open it, apparently the windows had not been washed since the moment they were installed in the house. There was no furniture on the balcony at all, although other rooms had chairs and a table on the balcony. The curtain on the bathroom sadly met me along with the broken, sagging, rewound brown tape, cornice. There was no soap, no shampoo, no conditioner, nothing. There was one towel holder and it broke when I hung a towel on it. Nobody was going to fix it. You do not need to take things into the bath, because they will have to be kept in your teeth or left on the toilet lid. You can organize a relay race on the balcony of your room, but it is better to do this before sunrise or after sunset to avoid sunstroke. At night, we woke up from a roar, a lamella fell off in the sofa, although during our settlement the villa manager, part-time brother of the hostess, said that he had fixed everything, and we could sleep peacefully.
And now the hit of the villa is a unique, huge, chic kitchen with expensive furniture that greeted us warmly in the morning along with its inhabitants: ants, midges, centipedes and spiders, as well as complete unsanitary conditions, the remnants of yesterday's booze - crumbs and dirty glasses on the table. We were given two shelves each in the closet and in the refrigerator, which had to be washed for a long time with detergents, because it was disgusting to touch them. The dishes, apparently, were never thoroughly washed. All the cups were covered with plaque, plates and cutlery with dried food remnants. Everything is covered in dust and cobwebs. I did not dare to use the microwave - I would have spent a whole day cleaning it. Seedlings can be easily planted on the floor. With every minute of my stay in this elite villa, my irritation increased. I asked the landlady if she would return the money if we wanted to change housing. She said she would certainly return. We stayed in this "bedroom" with a claim to a VIP hotel for 23 hours. When I asked for a refund, they charged us two days in advance!! ! Those. 1600 UAH I was shocked. I asked if this establishment with the above problems can claim such a price. We were told that cleaning our room cost $75. It's all fairy tales!! ! Nobody cleans up there. We gave the hostess our money, let him buy a TV or a mini-fridge with them. In her opinion, a TV is not needed on vacation, and a refrigerator in the room is an excess. She was angry that we found housing for the same money in the best place with our own yard, internet, dishwasher and washing machine, 2 plasma TVs, a refrigerator up to the ceiling, chic furniture, great sleeping places, a modern kitchen, and most importantly with sterile cleanliness!!!! ! The hostess cleans our apartments every day. And at the "wonderful" villa Elena, cleaning every 7 days... Villa "Elena" is an economical option for big money. So, I do not advise anyone to step on our rake...
