So we returned from Nikolaevka, the Enigma Hotel.
I, a person spoiled by repeated vacations abroad (Turkey, Egypt, Tunisia), have been looking for a place to stay for quite a long time. My choice fell on Nikolaevka, which is located far from the bustle and noise of the city and at the same time not too far from Simferopol. After a long study of all the information available on the Internet about the cottages of the Skif recreation center, we decided to go to Enigma. All the necessary information about how to make an advance payment, conditions of rest, meals, transfers, etc. we received from Svetlana, the owner of the hotel. Until the last moment, I thought that we (well, that is, in Ukraine) could not be so smooth and simple. Doubts began to dissipate when a smiling pretty girl met us right at the car, escorted us to the car, and after 40 minutes we were already in Nikolaevka, standing near the hotel. Check-in took place in just a couple of minutes. The room really matched all the photos on the Internet: good furniture, air conditioning, shower, hairdryer, refrigerator, TV, beach umbrella, necessary utensils. The sweetest maid Svetlana immediately came, assured us that she was ready to help with all questions, and we were invited to breakfast. And so our holiday began!
The Skif itself is a well-groomed small area, gorgeous blooming roses and other flowers, round-the-clock security. Nearby there is a market where you can buy everything you need for recreation, souvenirs, products. Outside the territory there is a private sector, an old market, a lot of cafes for every taste. Nearby is an amusement park, where we rode the rides with great pleasure.

It is literally 2-3 minutes walk from the hotel to the sea, the beach is pebbly, clean, if necessary, you can use sun loungers. Next year they promise to fence off the beach only for the guests of the Skif, then it will be quite beautiful.
Meals in Enigma are complex, homemade, decent portions, a good assortment of all kinds of dishes. If you wish, you can choose a meal plan that is convenient for you, food is more than suitable for children. The hosts Svetlana and Igor go to meet everyone. Great respect and respect to the chef, as well as the girl who serves the dining room.
Rooms are cleaned every day, bed linen is changed regularly, valuables and money can be safely left in the room.
The result of our vacation: tanned, recovered, with a bunch of souvenirs, satisfied with Nikolaevka, and Enigma in particular. We will definitely go again next year.
And now a couple of tips for future vacationers (tested from our own experience):
- do not spare money and buy tickets for air-conditioned trains or a plane;
- I do not advise you to eat barbecue and other delicacies that are cooked on fire in the Orange Hotel (the balcony of our room just overlooked the grill of this hotel, the whole rest we watched the process of cooking and serving dishes). Better go to Enigma, Igor cooks delicious shish kebab (tested on myself). And what kind of ice cream and cocktails they have... mmmmm, saliva is still flowing.
