Sudak-New World. Beginning of summer.
We rested in early June 2011. For some reason, I always treated the eastern Crimea with disdain (they say the South Coast is many times better), but in vain. Novy Svet is a tiny village 9 km (they write at 5, don't believe it (we can go in a straight line)) from Sudak. How to get there: from Simferopol-direct minibus Simferopol-Sudak-N. Light. The issue price is about 35 UAH, but at night, when they do not go, taxi drivers ask about 300 UAH (essno per car). The second way through Feodosia. Do not be teapots like us, go out to st. Aivazovskaya, and do not go to Feodosia itself (if you are going to N. Svet, Sudak, Koktebel. Leaving from there (Feodosia center) is extremely problematic, especially at night or early in the morning. From the Aivazovskoye bus station (open from 05-00 to 23-00, nothing (officially) goes to N. Sveta either. more. Next, we transfer in Sudak (at the bottom of the bus station (if you can call it that)), whoever is worried, ask at the box office, they will tell you. 30, the first from Sudak at 8-00, the last at 19-00 further taxi. We (damn dummies), although we traveled the entire South Coast, approached the trip (in a day) without thought and miraculously left Feodosia together with the Russians at 5-00 on VITO for 100 UAH from three. Housing: from 100 to 400 UAH. At the bus station you will be met, as elsewhere, ''housing is not expensive''. To use their services or not is a matter of taste. You won’t be able to live far from the sea even if you want, you can walk around the whole village in about 20 minutes. We lived near the market, the minimum set of amenities: TV, air conditioner, shower cabin, cold / mountains. water is always 180 UAH per night per room (700 UAH 5 days / 4 nights for three 2 adults, 1 child 11 years old, but I emphasize the price for the ROOM - at least 15 students have the same money on mattresses) An interesting feature is that water is given to the village every TWO DAYS FOR AN HOUR! ! Therefore, they ask her to take care of! Of course. There are no supermarkets, the last shop, at the bus station, closes at 23-00. The beach is free, sand and pebble. Go even up to 50 meters around the neck. It is very convenient for small children. There are sun loungers (30 UAH per day), but the vast majority are on towels. There are not many places even in early June. Fruits are very expensive (by the standards of our city twice) Strawberries-35, cherries-30. As for food, the higher the price, the cheaper it is. On average, breakfast: 30-50 UAH, lunch: 70-100 UAH per person. What to see: 1) Golitsyn trail (I recommend), if you want to save 20 UAH for the entrance, you can climb 200 meters up (the landmark is the Golitsyn Museum) and go there without turning off the road. The royal beach is closed, there are rockfalls, but it's easy to get there! You need a swimsuit / swimming trunks, sunscreen. 2) Sudak-Genoese fortress: minibus N. Svet-Sudak (first at 8-30) Entrance-adults 30, children 15 UAH. It was not possible to climb over the fence, although people climbed over. The entire fence was painted, or with fuel oil, or some other garbage that does not dry out! I had to pay! The sooner the better. Already at 9-00 it is VERY hot. 3) Mount Sokol: or at least a spring, halfway to it! The views from the mountain are simply fantastic! Bottom line: 1) super vacation 2) I don’t recommend Feodosia to anyone, as a place of rest (even for 2-3 days) purely IMHO. To whom I do not recommend N. Light: - youth, cat. loves to move and club, there are simply no institutions of this kind in the village, teenagers of 15-20 years old were frankly bored without company. I recommend 1) With children, excellent entry into the sea 2) For lovers of a relaxing holiday (not a single disco in 5 days) С. SW. Not a boring holiday for everyone!
