A little note, if you don't mind.
We are Muscovites. Were in Majestic from 11 to 18 April.
First of all - in Crimea everything is SIMPLY SUPER!! ! Quietly, hospitably, tasty, drunken and warm, a riot of greenery and flowers! The sea is like a tear, but of course still cold, although I dipped under the wine, and my girls wet their feet.
We lived in a two-room suite on the 4th floor (they paid extra 900 rubles (already rubles, yes) per day per room), three of us with a 4-year-old daughter.

I liked the hotel itself, clean, decent, sometimes even stylish, such a solid Greek three-four, the room is very bright, the view from it generally bursts my eyes : ). At the same time, it is noticeable that it is still the off-season, the second building is being actively completed (this does not interfere with rest, there is no noise, there is no dirt, the workers are quietly swarming, smiling and greeting), the outdoor pool is filled, but not heated, the pool bar is still closed, the waitress is in the hall works alone. The indoor pool and sauna function perfectly, although the opening hours of the sauna are inconvenient (for us) from 4 to 7 pm. There are not many vacationers, but almost everyone with children, everyone is calm, relaxed and friendly, many use their own transport, the rooms are mostly Russian.
The food is very tasty, but you need to adapt to some features, for example, there is no drinking water, only hot tea (daughter had to dilute it so that it does not burn, but there is nothing... and they constantly forgot to take water with them : ), relax well : ) )
Even from everyday life, in my opinion, on the balcony of the suite, the distance between the railings-columns is very wide, we have a girl who is crazy, we were constantly twitching that she would slip : ) But the view from the balcony is very chic, I repeat, you soar above the sea and feel like a captain on the bridge! Handsome cormorants arrive, here they are instead of our pigeons, they are not fools to eat for free, they knock on the window in the morning : ) ale, they say, take out the cookies.
The room was cleaned daily, the staff was friendly and sensitive, a couple of times for a little encouragement they brought us dinner directly to the room. Wi-Fi directly into the room on the 4th floor finishes well, and below and throughout the entire territory it flies. For our operators, Crimea is still abroad, so Wi-Fi is very useful.
We took an excursion through the hotel once, to three places at once (Wuchan-Su waterfall, Last. Gnezdo and Livadia), everything was organized without problems. It turned out that the three of us went, there were more people on the way. They drove great. The beauty!!
We traveled independently to Yalta, to Gurzuf, to Massandra on the kindest talkative taxis. Taxi was called again through the hotel reception. By the way, they came back for us (to Yalta too), left their business cards (you need to call in Crimea like this: +38-operator code-phone number). Gasoline there is now, of course, hellish, 55 rubles for the 95th, everyone is waiting for Russian supplies and the normalization of this issue.

Majestic is located between two magnificent parks. On the right, from the side of Ayu-Dag, there is a military sanatorium "Krym", there is a huge shady park, a little wild and flat, which is not bad for a traveler weary of Narzan, everything blooms, sings, the air can be cut into slices with a knife, at least people. Entrance to the "Crimea" is free. In "Crimea" there is also a dolphinarium, a visit to it is included in the coupon, which was a pleasant surprise for us (or rather for my daughter) (you need to read the tour program more carefully : )).
To the left of the Majestic is the Aivazovsky sanatorium. There, the park is well-groomed and chic, consisting of several styles, Greek, Oriental, and so on. The park is vertical, so stretch your legs, but there are plenty of benches and all sorts of viewing platforms. Super park! But paid, in April was at least.
In general, I recommend Majestic, if you are not used to the buffet and there are no mega-requirements, you will have a great rest.
And Crimea itself is sweet. I don’t know what it will be like in the season, but now it’s just a candy in a colorful wrapper!
