Hello everyone!
We already rested in Mar le Mare last year. Liked. After the rest, I shared my impressions with the visitors of this site.
This year, after reading what changes are coming in the infrastructure of the hotel, we decided to go to Mar le Mar again. There were some worries about the fact that the club could turn from a chamber club into a "passage yard", precisely in connection with the opening of new recreation areas.
Luckily, we were worried for nothing. Rest remained calm, quiet, intelligent.

Before writing this review, I preliminarily read the reviews of this year in order to compare my impressions of the holiday with the impressions of other vacationers. Basically, opinions and comments coincided. I was surprised by the categorical statements of some comrades that (I quote) “Most of the reviews, as it turned out, were made by people who were not in other hotels for family holidays, for example, in Turkey or even in similar Crimean ones. Or they were the last time in the Crimea about 20 years ago and, of course, any more or less decent hotel creates the impression of paradise : )”. Probably, I will disappoint the author of this opus, but, despite the fact that we were in different hotels in Europe: in fives, fours, threes in Germany, France, Spain, England, Poland, the Baltic states, we even once lived in a student hostel in Germany (not on vacation, of course, it happened), they also visited the Black Sea coast of the Krasnodar Territory, and also visited the Crimea, i. e. we have something to compare with, and yet we liked the holiday that Mar le Mar has to offer. Details can be found in my previous review.
It didn't get worse this year. The pines and squirrels are the same (although owls (or owlets, as many as 5 pieces) appeared this year), the rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, helpful, there is no rudeness in any form, the food, however, is “hotly discussed”, but , it is absolutely certain that you will never be hungry, and, even more so, you will not get poisoned. It is also true that gourmets who are used to visiting restaurants with Michelin stars will definitely have comments.
I'll tell you more about what I liked from the new.
This year we were able to actively go in for sports. You could play football, volleyball, basketball, tennis and table tennis. It was possible to work out in the gym (both a bicycle, and a treadmill, and a walking track, weight machines). To be honest, we did not have time to do everything that was offered. Not to mention the “torment” of choosing which of the two pools or the sea to go to : ).
Gorgeous new infinity pool and infrastructure around it.
I liked the updated beach by the sea. There was a civilian toilet. Comfortable stationary umbrellas are installed. Part of the entrance to the sea was filled with sand.
Gorgeous new embankment near the hotel.
I liked the pavilions with soft puffs on the territory. Apparently, we were not the only ones, because they were almost never empty after dinner and in the evenings.
Changed the music in the restaurant and bars. From club swotting, which strained, to pop.
The beginnings of adult animation appeared: the penalty shoot-out competition among the male population of the club was fun. Everyone was satisfied with the gifts and the offered free beer : ).
I really liked the concert of the Brazzavill group.
Notes from this year:

We felt that the restaurant staff was less trained than last year. There was a lot of fuss around the buffet, constantly the waitresses opened and closed the lids on the distribution, checked if this or that dish was over, sometimes pushing the rest away. Somehow it needs to be done more inconspicuously.
At the "old" pool and on the beach, it was not always possible to find staff who could help with umbrellas or sun loungers.
On the territory there were signs-indicators of different objects of the hotel, which did not know where and what they pointed to. We always had a question: why are they needed?
Something incomprehensible was happening with the pressure of hot water in our room, then it was, then it was not. We did not understand, but did not apply. There were no problems with this last year.
Our opinion is that the hotel is really developing and looking for its own style.
We wish the hotel team again to keep up, not to lower the bar and work on the bugs!
Once again, I will be glad if the review turns out to be useful to someone. I will be sure to answer anyone who has questions.
