Holidays in MAR LE MAR
We were looking for a hotel on the Internet, according to the principle: animation for children, private beach, good food, evening entertainment for both children and adults.
We arrived at the hotel in the afternoon, ordered a transfer at the hotel, met us, carried our suitcases. We had lunch (the dinner was terrible), went to the beach, the swim is clean, sun loungers, deck chairs, but you go into the sea, take two steps and knock your legs against the boulders, the children could not enter, only you need to bring them in your arms, the sea is dirty.
We were upset, went to the pool, the pool is clean, for kids the pool is also clean, with toys. Our children decided not to go to the sea anymore, but to swim in the pool, but for us, parents, it was unacceptable to come 1000 km away to swim in the pool.
We went for dinner, dinner was better, the choice of dishes is small, but tasty, everything is clean, but, for example, 2 salads (olivier and with crab sticks), children don’t eat this, but they would eat just a chopped tomato or cucumber, but no.
By the way, they don’t give alcoholic drinks, which are written about on the site, you can only buy at the bar.
Then the evening, everyone goes to their rooms, there is no place where the animators gather families and entertain both children and adults, they make a mini disco for children at 21 o’clock in the room, not in the air, and this is where the program ends. CLEAR.
There is not a single bench on the territory at all so that you can sit, admire the pines, squirrels, chat, you can only sit at the bar, and for extra. fee to buy something and then communicate. In short, at 21 o'clock everything is by numbers.
After the first day of our stay, we were very upset, we were about to leave, they told us that they could not return the money in cash, only it was not known when by transfer, although they took cash from us. This did not suit us.
By the way, about payment. On the site, prices are indicated in euros, but payment is made in hryvnias at their personal rate. And the hotel changes the rate every day in its own favor, and the rate does not hang on their wall or somewhere, we come to pay for the hotel, the girl calls someone, she is told the rate and she counts the price. On our arrival, they cost 11.45 euros.
We decided to stay, found the beach of another boarding house near the hotel and went there, it was comfortable for the children, in the evening interesting holidays and parties took place in the neighboring boarding house, the children and I went there, they danced there, participated in competitions.....
One day it was raining, I decided to take the youngest child (4 years old) to the animators, he sat down to play toys and so he sat playing until I came in 30 minutes, and the animator sat painting her nails, she behaved according to the principle , "Well, I'm nearby, I'm watching, " she didn't play with him, she didn't even ask him his name. We didn’t go to the animators anymore. The animators did everything for show, without initiative, it seemed that they were serving time. Children were not involved in any way, they were not interested, they had a desire that no one would come to their event and it would be easier for them. No creativity.
The only person to be praised is the swimming coach Seigey Fedorovich, he did everything from the heart, he himself approached and called the children to training and the children really liked being with him in class.
On the second day, a shower stall leaked in our room (the door jumped out of the rails), the maid did the cleaning, and pretended not to notice, we ourselves asked the reception to repair it. The master said that there are no spare parts, use it like that. On the trail. he repaired the day, but after another day, it flowed from the other side, our requests to resolve the issue were ignored. We had to remove water from the floor with foot towels, and dirty towels were put in a basin, but the maid did not come every day (although cleaning was by agreement every day), and therefore it was all sour in the basin. On requests to clean every day, we were ignored, the beds were not changed even once, water should be given 2 bottles every day, it was given every other day.
In the middle of the rest, we got tired of being nervous, and all the time thinking about water, then about a puddle in the bathroom, and we decided to relax calmly.
By the way, only families with children rest on the territory of the hotel, I have not seen a single couple without children, and there is NO doctor in the hotel. Thank God that we did not need a doctor, and other people called an ambulance for a fee of 100 dollars. Even in the neighboring Soviet boarding house, where we went to the beach, there is a doctor sitting on the seashore, but we don’t have a doctor anywhere. A woman with a heart attack went to a neighboring boarding house with us, because. we don't even have anyone to measure blood pressure.
Leaving our hotel, there is only one steppe around and to the nearest store, the market is 2.5 km on foot, there is no transport. There is only one shop on the beach, where we had to go.
Since there is a steppe around, the children's allergies became aggravated, especially when the wind blew, although we were at different sea resorts, and the allergy to the sea always went away.
In short, of all the benefits of the hotel, we used only food and lodging. We found everything else in other places.
The most interesting thing was when we left the hotel, the maids 2 people came to take the room, they checked it so carefully that they even checked the batteries in the remote control, they didn’t count a set of towels, they started demanding payment, we asked to see the price list, they don’t have it , they wrote 400 hryvnias on a piece of paper "from the lantern", we explained to them that when the shower stall was leaking, the maid could pick up wet towels, but she couldn’t bring a new set, not on purpose, she just forgot, they say no and that's it, pay, we began to say that search our suitcases, since we never took towels from the room, and we don’t want to pay for them due to the fault of other people. In short, our departure was delayed for 2 hours, the children were nervous in the car, hungry, since we were no longer entitled to dinner, and we found out about towels.
So, if you are going to rest in this hotel, watch yourself every day and count how many sets they brought you, how many they took away, do not trust. And it will turn out like ours!!! ! Have a great holiday everyone!!! !
