We were in Privetnoye in the last week of August 2013 (three families). I liked it very much.
When we were driving, we were afraid that there would be nowhere to buy meat and potatoes, but everything was nearby. Our boathouse 44 (owner Vasily) was just near the shops (this is the center of the beach). The market is 3 minutes walk. 60 seconds walk to the water. There was hot water. Refrigerator, air conditioning, TV - everything was there. All new. There is a kitchen with 3 stoves, but we had lunch in a cafe (hodgepodge 20 UAH 350 gr. , borscht 15 UAH 350 gr. )
They were also afraid of how to get from Simferopol to Privetnoye, as a result, they rented a minibus for 9 people for 600 UAH. and arrived in 2.5 hours directly under the house. Back to them.
Responsive owner: brazier, skewers, grills - he gave everything. Really good person. I think it's because I worked in an ambulance for 20 years.

I read in the reviews that the sea is not clean - this is nonsense, the sea is like a diamond. I saw the bottom at a depth where I was with handles and another half an elbow, i. e. somewhere 2.7 m. The beach is pebble, so we took thick bedding.
For a family holiday, everything is 5+ Silence. Peace. Free beach. No drunken and screaming bydlota. We went on an excursion to the juniper grove along the beach 4km. All liked it !
