Finally, the impressions from the rest in the Crimea in September 2016 crystallized, they (impressions) were bright and contradictory. We traveled together, me and my husband, without children. Saki was chosen, as a result of several factors, a fairly inexpensive accommodation, judging by the picture of a fairly high quality, sandy beach and, of course, the famous lake. We rented a double room, it was indicated that the room can accommodate up to 3 people, in one of the guest houses at the recreation center "Priboy". By prior arrangement, a transfer was ordered from us, we arrived in the evening, met, settled, the hostess of the State Duma was a friendly and polite woman. In general, the room corresponded to the picture on the site. Pretty spacious, very clean, promised set of dishes in stock, decent TV, several sockets. Of the minuses, the room is certainly not 3-seater, it can sleep on the second sofa, if only a child is 7-8 years old, it only has the appearance of unfolding, the mechanism is not broken, it just never worked, as it always turned out all this by chance when fell ill and had to move away from her husband, so as not to infect him, from the main place. Now about him, the main place)), this is an ottoman covered with flock, narrow 1.4 m, a layer of foam rubber about five centimeters and plywood, no frills in the form of springs, and even more so an orthopedic mattress, in general, we got used to such "luxury". But it costs according to the declared schedule, in general, everything related to cleaning, cleanliness - 4+. But at the same time, the room needs frankly repair, the wallpaper leaves in places, once there were leaks and mold formed, and small spots, but for people with allergies this is at least a nuisance. Cottages at the base are dense, belong to different owners, our hostess had a beautiful, well-groomed yard with roses and other ideas. Unfortunately, the windows of our room and the cottage overlooked the courtyard of another State House, which specialized in families with children. And that means c7.30 there was no silence and so on until 22.00. On the other hand, this is not the worst noise in this life, . . From the cottage to the beach - from the strength of 300 meters. Yes, the beach near the camp site is sandy, but not endless, compared to Anapa or the Baltic, it is narrow, it is difficult to walk on it, the sand is loose, so it was not possible to make endless walks along the sea, as we dreamed of. In the direction of the sanatorium "Poltava-Crimea" there is a relatively wild sandy-pebble beach, pebbles in the Crimea conquered me, it is round, flat and does not cut the legs, it is a pleasure to sunbathe on it. About the lake. There are only delightful impressions from the lake, but I will not develop them, since all these delightful things have contraindications. Food. There is a lot of delicious food in Crimea))) and masters of cooking it. On the territory of the camp site, "At Mikhalych" - very tasty and fresh, but not cheap, good portions; cheap cafe "Laguna" - not very high quality, one day they got poisoned, they cook well in a small cafe of Italian cuisine, unfortunately I forgot the name, but it's also expensive and they closed early (((, of course, delicious manti, shurpa in the corner without a name, they have a line for manti in the evening. And of course fish and seafood, that's what they ate, everything is fresh))). Not to mention any pastries, very tasty))). Thanks to everyone who fed us, it is impossible to choose the best. BUT fruits are very expensive, at the same time in Anapa we buy everything much cheaper, the prices for them surprise and infuriate, since these are not imported products, but in this regard, the Crimeans make it worse for themselves, if I took 3 kg at a normal price, then I'll take 2 here. , watermelons were surprisingly tasteless, peaches and tomatoes are good. It’s embarrassing to talk about water in Saki))), they have their own well since the 19th century, they say there is nothing to water with. So there is no shortage, interruptions in these places. Transport in Crimea is terrible. This applies not only to old buses, this will not surprise anyone, but to strange logistics and the habit of filling the bus to the state of herrings in a barrel. To leave for the central part of Saki, you need to wait for the bus, screw into it with great difficulty, then shake around the potholes for 20-30 minutes, standing on one leg and drenched in sweat. The bus takes so long because it goes around, not directly, instead of 7-8 km - 17-18 km. Travel is cheap. From the bus station there are buses to other cities, but after looking at how they fill the bus to Evpatoria (17-20 km), they decided not to go. Taxis are prohibitively expensive, there are no such prices even in St. Petersburg, and I think in Moscow. From the camp site to Saki 400-500 rubles. My husband and I love to walk, but in those places where we rested it was difficult to do, so we had to limit ourselves to a daily trip to the lake and a trip to Saki and a couple of walks around the city. City. Once upon a time, Saki was handsome. This is how it is shown in all advertising photos. And of course, this city and the area still has its own charm. In what state he is now, I want to cry. And I was upset by the attitude of the residents, somehow we are already used to the fact that people go out and try to bring beauty in front of their houses, on their own, even if someone is in what much, but with a soul. It feels like people don't care. Yes, you can’t shift the tiles in the park with your own efforts, but cut out weeds, plant new borders, but can you just weed the city park? After all, you invite guests to your place, isn’t it at home just before the arrival of guests? People. What people? As elsewhere, very different))). Mostly friendly, welcoming, hardworking. There were practically no nationalist antics, but this can be found everywhere. With its multinationality, Crimea reminded me of my native St. Petersburg, who you also don’t meet, and everyone somehow gets along. I conquered Bakhchisarai, we were there in 2014, it was quiet and not crowded, and in the past 2016 there was pandemonium. Tours. Many different, mostly guides are very professional and inspire respect. But all excursions are so overloaded with events (sightseeing visits) and information that by the evening the porridge is in my head from impressions. What to bring. Mud of Lake Saki and products based on it. I didn’t really like other cosmetics, like soap, it got an allergy, either a lot of essential oils, or such a “natural” one. Herbal tea blends. Lavender. Essential oils. Crimean sweets. Wine is not. Most of the wines are specific, very sweet, even expensive aged brut, sweet, in general, for a sweet tooth. A beautiful tan, in the Crimea it lays down evenly and of a beautiful shade. Health. Vivid impressions. Conclusion. We will go to Crimea only by car, as there are many things I want to see. It is difficult to rent a car, there are only 4-5 offices, each of them has somewhat muddy or strange conditions, they have lost the habit of this. And in 3-4 years, when at least something has time to change.
