Since 2011 I have been resting in a boarding house twice: from June 11 to July 13 I was with 2 children (1 year 10 months and 5 years old) and a friend (her children are 3 years old and 11 years old). The second time I came in September for 2 weeks with my children and my husband.
For children there is a paradise! A huge number of trampolines, swings (both for small and older children), slides for different ages. Great animation for kids. A wonderful team of lifeguards on the beach, who were friends with both adults and children. On the beach ride on a banana, on a boat.
The staff is smiling. We said goodbye like family.
Separately, I want to say about the beauty salon. Cosmetologist Tatyana is just a magician! And the husband was delighted with the massage that Dmitry did. Moreover, the prices for everything there are simply ridiculous.

Meals in the canteen in 2 shifts. The portions are large, just not enough fruit. But fruits could be bought right at the gates of the boarding house from private traders. Food is perfect for children: cereals, purees, meatballs. There are highchairs for children.
Territory well-groomed. Lots of squirrels and hedgehogs
There is a rental of bicycles (both for children and adults) and velomobiles. The only thing missing was child seats on bicycles so that the kids could ride too. The trunk is not comfortable.
It was nice to have a shop on site. You could buy almost everything you need, or ask to be brought to order (we did this with diapers). And from the boarding house in Shchelkino several times a day, minibuses go to the market in Shchelkino. Very comfortably! And daily excursions are also organized.
On the territory there is a medical center, you can buy some medicines.
We lived in a house with a veranda. The room is small, but everything you need is there: TV, refrigerator, safe, shower, toilet. I was pleasantly surprised by the good soundproofing of the rooms.
In the evening (after dinner) there was live music at the bar by the large pool. And what kind of pasties are cooked there! Mmmm. . .
Now for the cons:
1) It was a little annoying that you had to walk 700 meters across the field to the beach. It is especially difficult to return to dinner, when the sun fries with all its might.
2) The lack of a normal toilet on the beach. It is difficult to call what is there a toilet.
3) Of the minuses, the water in the children's pool with slides was not heated. Therefore, after the slides, the children warmed themselves in the jacuzzi)))
4) BUT the biggest minus for us (but this is not the fault of the boarding house) is the constant wind. The boarding house is located in the steppe part of the Crimea, not protected by mountains. The sea out of the 46 days spent there in total was calm for 5 days. The rest of the time - waves. And often such that you won’t go into the water with a child.

And because of the wind it's cold to get out of the water. You need to wrap up right away. Again, because of the wind, many children (including my daughter) had otitis media. We checked with the locals - it is always windy, and not that we were unlucky that particular year.
If it were not for the wind, we would go on vacation only here. And so we think. Find a windless vacation spot with the same infrastructure and service. . .
If anyone has any questions - write, I will try to answer everything.
