It took a long time to determine where and how to relax - as a "savage" or in a boarding house, in the Crimea or Turkey. Finally, after the "sweet" reviews of the manager of one of the travel agencies about Espanyol, we decided - we were going to Solnechnogorskoye to Espanyola... We paid for one double room in a wooden cottage with amenities and a double room in a building without amenities. So, in anticipation of a wonderful holiday, we hit the road. . .
Alas, disappointment overtook us too quickly, as soon as we got out of the minibus and 30 minutes later crossed the threshold of our room (with amenities in a wooden cottage).
All the details below are my personal subjective opinion.
Minuses:
1. A couple of grocery stores throughout the village, where there is nothing else to buy except for mineral water, cigarettes and frozen legs;
2. As for a resort village of this type, the absence of an outpatient clinic is surprising (the nearest hospital and ambulance are 23 km away in Alushta! );

3. The beaches are free, so they resemble the rookeries of marine animals - at 7-8 in the morning it is problematic to find decent places closer to the water. What immediately catches the eye is dirt. Bulls, bottles, condoms and even women's tampons, that's what adults and especially children have to relax and sunbathe on (a 6-year-old kid of a friend who was vacationing with us found a used condom with the words: "Mom, I found a ball... ");
5. The road from Espanyola to the beach takes about 15 minutes, while you are constantly trying to run over local taxi drivers and UAZ drivers who take tourists to the Dzhur-Dzhur waterfall;
6. According to the assurances of the travel agency, there is always (! ) cold and hot water in the boarding house. Alas, I happened to feel hot water a couple of times early in the morning. The rest of the time had to be tempered. In addition, from about 23-00 the water was generally turned off. After complaints to the administrator, the answer was received that there was not enough boiler for everyone (the question is, what amenities did we pay for then? );
7. No noise isolation - you can hear everything that is happening around. Below, on the side, on the street - absolutely everything;
8. No one cleaned the rooms for the entire period of rest;
9. Entertainment in Solnechnogorsk is all located on the beach - bars, handeliki and more. Moreover, all the establishments are so stuck to each other that it seems that this is one big eatery. And the cacophony from songs overlapping each other - from chanson to oriental motifs - does not allow you to relax and enjoy the atmosphere of relaxation at all;
10. The presence of only two pharmacies, where prices for medicines are 2-3 times higher than in the average pharmacy in Kyiv;
11. The furniture is old, terrible (the beds are like in a soldier's barracks), the doors are closed only after a good "pusher", a separate conversation about the bathroom - the shower stall fell apart right before our eyes, although the administrator assured us that it was new...
Plus one and very important - food. Yes, the food is really decent and worth the money spent. Variety, delicious homemade. Therefore, I would recommend this boarding house to families with children and pensioners who do not care about the presence of restaurants and clubs. . .
